Needed modification to use with my HP Z240 Workstation
My goal in getting this product was to replace my GTX1060 with a used GTX1080 GPU in my workstation. In doing so I bought a used 750 EVGA ATX PSU to get the necessary GPU plugs. Bought this adapter but after looking at the pinouts there would be serious damage unless i moved some pins. Looking at a wiring diagram for ATX and opening the stock HP 400w Platinum PSU (which i don't recommend you do unless you're confident in which components could shock the life out of you). Ive included pictures of both six pin connectors. The left plug in the first picture is this ATX adapter sent to me in the listing and on the right is the six pin plug from the OEM HP 400w PSU. The second picture is the stock HP 400w PSU for reference. If you're not confident in moving the pins around to match mine then this may not be for you. Again, this pinout swap was for my HP Z240 Workstation specifically. If the manufacturer switches wire colors on this adapter in the listing further down the road this fix will not work for you without some serious research. Good Luck!

Works but pins were backwards
Ok so I’m not sure if this is an issue with the product or maybe HP just does all of its boards differently? But essentially the pins on the white 6-pin adapter here were on backwards. I had to manually pull them out and put them back in the correct slots.I figured this out because the product didn’t work at first. For whatever reason I had the idea to flip the pins around and much to my surprise, it worked. Due to the connector on the motherboard it wouldn’t stay on that way by itself so I just pulled out the wires and swapped them to the correct positions.Initially from left to right it was set up as: empty/empty/brown/blue/gray/yellowThe correct alignment for my HP 8200 Elite CMT board was, from left to right, brown/blue/gray/yellow/empty/empty.I hope that saves people some time/effort
