I honestly want to give these bulbs less than 5 stars, but in reality, I suppose they are doing exactly what they are supposed to do, and they do it well. Let me explain - we had a set of string lights around our window. The color was soft white, and it was beautiful. Soft white is white with a gentle warm orange tint to it. Not orange, but not pure medical-grade white either. In fact, we matched the rest of the lights in our living room to the string lights. In terms of color temperature, the original bulbs we had were between 3000k-3200k. As those LED bulbs started to die out, we looked into getting replacement bulbs. We’ve purchased 3 different sets of string light bulbs, and as hard as we try to find “soft white” bulbs, they’ve all been warm white, or noticeably “orange”, likely around 2500k-2700k. With this 3rd set of bulbs, I got tired of returning them so we just kept them. The bulbs are warm white, meaning they have a much oranger tint to them. This means we have quite a contrast of lighting color in our living room, which irritates me to no end. HOWEVER, it’s nice to just have the strings lights on with no other lights, and it looks very relaxing. I’m happy using the LED bulbs because they are energy efficient and have a longer life. They also have plastic “globes” meaning they won’t shatter if you drop them, making installation much easier. While LED bulbs can have some flickering as they age (the last set had several flickering bulbs) it’s not bad, and we’ve never had any eye or headache issues using these bulbs. Overall, they are good bulbs, and they add a nice look to the living room. I just wish I could find the correct color temperature bulbs.

We use these bulbs out on our deck lights. They are packaged so solid we never worry about breakage. After our initial install we ordered a small box to keep for spares if one goes out. They are on a timer so they are on every night. They seem to last forever. They don’t have harsh glow they are very pleasing. The fact that you can purchase in different quantities is a plus.

These bulbs are decorative and look great, the claim that they are waterproof is not true. I had to order these replacement bulbs because after a rainy winter, several of my original bulbs had quite a lot of water inside. Since they are LED they do not need to be vacuum sealed like incandescent bulbs so water can sneak in. I had to drill a small hole in the bottom of the offending bulbs so that I could shake the water out before it shorted the switch. Nevertheless they are of fair quality for the price point.

We use these on our deck and keep them lit all summer. Long lasting and good quality through all the weather throught the year—rain, wind, sleet, snow, ice!

7/16/25: Ok, so after NUMEROUS emails and several light bulb cases sent back and forth, this company FINALLY tackled the issue and got to the bottom of things! Over and above in customer service! Also the ‘string/electrical part’: Cover the ‘box’ mechanism that controls the strand of lights with plastic (bag or cases) securely because after time the water and elements will destroy an otherwise operable strand of lights. My strand burnt out but it was the box that was the problem. Once we remedied, we didn’t have to take down, purchase another & saved time! After 3 years only 4 bulbs burned out! 6/18/25: new review- I originally gave this product ZERO stars due to the fact that not one bulb worked. Not one! But the manufacturer reached out and said it may be due to the fact that ‘the string lights I purchased some time back were 24V NOT 120V which will cause them not to work’. I have since ordered the new 24V and will update when they arrive. 6/4/25: NOOOOO STARS AT ALL!! Not ONE bulb worked! The strain of lights from this Brand Maker works but the replacements DO NOT WORK! I ordered 24 and one of 10 bulbs. Neither of them worked!!! Returns but still have NO BULBS!!
