You might stumble over a little Hawaiian language embedded in this storyline, but don't fret, your kid won't know any better! Plus it has stickers. On par with most doc stories in that a toy isn't working and doc saves the day, but with some Hawaii feel to it. My 2 yr old loves the book and the length is good for her age. Flimsy cover and pages as expected with a small paperback, but pretty graphics and cute story for the price. As with all doc books there is some medical advice to take away. The medical based advice with this story is to play outside and to get some sunshine (just not too much).

My daughter's name is Leilani, so I bought her this book for her birthday. She loves Doc McStuffins so it was a win win for me. A must buy.

Strange story...

As a Leilani, it's amazing to see my name in print. The plot is meh. Obviously, a bit contrived and stereotypical. But it's my naaaame!
