I have a '15 Jeep Wrangler it works without any concerns! Now completely ready for the winter, this kit was insanely easy to install (remote three screws, press a button and you're done!) and works like a charm. The instructions were not great (luckily I watched the YouTube video first and during just to be sure); again it's super simple. Range, it's limited....obviously. If you're not getting the long range kit, you're limited to the range of your standard key fob. I've had a remote start on a previous vehicle that went up to a 1/4 mile; that unit was over $400. Because I wanted to keep my standard key fob (long range kit has another one), this kit was great. Sure, I'd love to have it connected to my phone with additional sensors, but for $100 and a ridiculously simple install, this is an amazing kit! Pick one up and you'll never be "that guy" scrapping your window or rubbing your hands together in your car to keep warm. Go to your window, press the "lock" button three times (another quick horn beep to confirm its starting), go out and slide the snow/ice off your car that hasn't already melted and enjoy your coffee that's as a warm as you are. (Remember, if you forget to put your heater on full blast the ride before, your engine is still warm and you'll still get heat really quickly, although putting the defrost on full blast will help!) Spoil yourself! Review: Unit is not flashed therefore it didn't work. - The listing title says "plug and play." I bought this for my Jeep Wrangler and it didn't work. After researching and contacting tech supports well as the product manufacturer I found out that the remote starter won't work until it is flashed. I was told by the seller that they do not flash these before sending them out. Buying a "plug and play" item to find out it's not true is not only false advertising but frustrating. Not only did I take the steering column apart to install this but I had to take it back apart again due to the item not working. Only complaint about the seller was describing the unit as "plug and play." Tech support was helpful and the seller agreed to refund my money. I purchased another remote starter on desertcart from another seller. That unit was flashed and true plug and play. Simple install and the unit works as described.

Works great and very reasonably priced!
Works great! I installed it on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport and not too many issues. I say too many because of the fact that sometimes I forget to put my key in before I hit the brake pedal. Now granted I use it almost twice every day and seems to work without an issue most days. Now I don't know if it's my Jeep or if it's this, but sometimes it will take a little longer to start. I mean I will stand out of my back door to make sure the keyfob works and I will hit the lock button 3 times and it unlocks, locks, and turns over for like a half a second which isn't enough time for it to start, and then it unlocks and locks again within 5 seconds and then cranks it over until it starts. But that only happens maybe twice a month out of using it almost 2 times a day. Super simple to install and watch youtube videos to make sure to program it right!

Easy to install
This works on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (JKU) with automatic transmission with power door locks. Easy to install, worked flawlessly as soon as we programed it. the only downside is cables are not very long so mounting it with zip ties was difficult as well as in the you tube video it says there is a Bluetooth long range extender compatible with the EVO but I have not been able to find it. None the less, if your in your home and you hit the button three times it starts each time. I recommend this to anyone looking for a inexpensive DIY.

Doesn't arrive programmed - you will need to purchase a FlashLink Updater tool at 54.95
Seems like it would be easy enough (when you finally find competent instructions to install it). However, once you get everything taken apart from the Jeep and plugged in, you find out that the %$^*&# thing didn't even come flashed and ready to program. I'm resourceful, i'll check on the website. OH.... oh ... you need to purchase the FlashLink Updater tool at another 54.95 dollars. Doesn't seem like such a great deal anymore. Misleading and false advertising at best.

Easy Install for the Jeep 2015 JKU
I have a 2015 Jeep Rubicon. I watched this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJ4RDqCFx7k for the install and had it installed in less than 10 min. I used a socket set and a hex driver set. 1 Hex screw, two sockets, pull apart the plastic shield for the steering column. Then follow the instructions in the video. I had my laptop and watched it while I did it. It starts right up with three clicks of the lock button. Shuts off at 15 min or with three more clicks. I did not like that my horn went off every time I locked the doors so I followed the instructions here: https://fortin.ca/en/qa/21043/how-to-ensure-silent-mode-i-e-no-horn-honks-on-remote-start to disable my horn. Now I can silently start my car in the morning. Love it!

Great product. But will take more time to install on a 2016 wrangler.
Works great. Beware though, jeep redesigned their steer column plastic trim on the 2016 wranglers. You no longer can remove the plastic beneath the steering wheel because jeep added a plastic lip that fits very tightly behind the steering wheel. You need to remove the steering wheel to be able to drop the piece of plastic out. HOWEVER, you can still get to the plug just by pulling the plastic down as far as you can (gently so you don't break it) but it really limits your work space and getting the plug out isn't an easy task but it can be accomplished with lots of patience or in my case cussing. As far as the product itself, it works great. Starts our jeep every time without issue. Thanks for making a great truly plug and play starter.
