Charley Harper Coloring Book, Vol. 1

My mom is a huge fan of the artist so I was excited to buy it for her and she loved it. Great price. It also shows the colored versions of the art if you want to replicate, or you can color in your own style.

I have many coloring books, but this has turned out to be one of my favorites! Beautiful and simple designs, and you can either match the color images inside the cover, or use your own colors. Fabulous.

Very basic Charley Harper. To see the line work and then see what he did with it is very fun. I don't think I'll color this one...it's just a good save.

Wonderful coloring book. Charley Harper is a unique and interesting artist. The coloring book is challenging, but not so overly detailed like some adult coloring books that feel almost impossible. The completed pictures could even be framed.

I grew up with these designs and still love them.

This book dosn't give much of a clue from the outside of what is inside but I wasn't disappointed and whilst the designs chosen are clearly suitable for kids, adults would enjoy too. You get 22 artworks to colour. The type of designs inside are typically like the one of the front in terms of simplicity to colour. You get one outline per page ....so nothing on the back. The colour photo's of each design on our the inside and back cover so you can copy or adapt as you feel fit. The designs cover all animals, otter, birds, fish, cat, bugs, butterfly, dog etc. A really good selection.Good for kids to see another dynamic to shapes and fun for all.

returnrd this item as it was not how i expected it to be.i found a lot of the illustrations to colour rather small.
