tastes like coconut :)
I saw this product mentioned on a couple of food blog posts and, having done some traveling, I enjoy trying regional foods. Particularly ones I see a lot of locals say reminds them of home, and the comments were full of that kind of nostalgia. This is essentially a jam - yes it does have very small pieces of coconut in it if you have trouble with the texture. It's set, not runny, and very sweet. Would make a good baking flavor/sweetner additive as well, I think.

Great Kaya
Sweet and delicious kaya. Not as good as the fresh stuff, but definitely as close as you can get from store-bought. I enjoy mine spread lightly on a slice of toast for breakfast!

Yeo's Kaya is the best!
Although the packaging has changed, the authentic Yeo's flavours remain in this classic Kopitiam favourite. As a kid in a small town of Binatang (now known as Bintangor) in Sarawak, Malaysia; my late father would take me to the local kopitiams (Malaysian & Singaporean street cafes) from time to time - and at a young age, as young as 4 or 5 I was able competently to place my orders - my two favourite items were Kaya toasted sandwiches and Iced Horlicks. I am very happy that this Malaysian-Singaporean classic is available on Amazon. There area many other Kaya brands, but Yeo's is my favourite.
