Great for helping you sleep
I purchased this item because I had read that it helps you sleep better and I'm a notorious bad sleeper.I can safely say that it works an absolute treat, the weight of the blanket, especially on top of a duvet, almost pins you to the mattress but feels like you've just been tucked in extremely warm and tightly as opposed to being overly claustrophobic.For the money being spent, I understand if other buyers have reservations, I had them too, but I think it's definitely a smart purchase.

Calms me down and provides relief
I’m really pleased with this. It doesn’t come with a cover (hence the cheaper price) and would be hard to clean at home, so I would recommend getting one for it. You can buy the soft blanket style ones off eBay if you search weighted blanket cover or you can just order a European sized single duvet cover. At the moment I have a duvet cover on mine, which keeps me feeling quite cool and like I could sleep under it even in the summer.I don’t have mine in my room to sleep under all night, I keep it in my living room to pull out when in a mental health crisis or pain flare up. I opted for the light grey one over the dark which is the colour shown in the image shared, I would say it is more grey than light grey. The dark grey appears to be a little bit more navy, so if you’re after a grey look, choose the light version!Update: I regret buying one without a cover. With a heavier weight, any cover on it slips a lot which is very annoying, and even when I made loops on it to secure it, it still didn’t hold well.

Not grey
It's a good quality blanket, well made and evenly weighted. But the picture shows a grey blanket and the product details also say grey, but I was sent a dark navy blue, which looks very out-of-place in my room and wasn't what was advertised.

Great for student anxiety
I'm a student with a lot to do and I couldn't get to sleep most nights. But, I tried this blanket for a week and noticed a difference after one night, now after a month I've gotten used to the weight and I've been able to sleep properly.

Love our weighted blanket.
Bought this for my wife as a present, but our kids try to constantly steal it.Pretty sure everyone in the house loves this blanket. It’s our first weighted blanket and it’s brilliant. It lives on our sofa and is used most days by at least one of us. It’s relaxing to use after a long run and have doubled up on your legs.I didn’t realise how relaxing a blanket could be.We need to look for a cover for it as I’m guessing it’ll be a pain to clean.*We’ve had this for a while now and whilst we still like it, we’ve noticed that the small glass balls leak from it. Unfortunately they are smaller than the holes made by the sewing machine which stitches it. It’s enough for us to notice but probably not a huge game changer.

Highly recommended
I have not slept well for over 20 years and have tried everything I could think of, but nothing has made any difference. I have never had problems getting to sleep, but would always wake in the early hours and not get back to sleep again, making for a long and lonely night, only made bearable with my Kindle.However, since getting the weighted blanket, I have had 7 hours good quality sleep every night and if I wake, it is only for a minute or two.I bought a cotton quilt cover so that can be washed, rather than the quilt.I am very happy indeed with the purchase and can only say that if you have sleep problems, it must be worth a go - it certainly works for me.

I really love this. I’ve had it since July and bought it originally because I suffer with anxiety and depression particularly at night. I’ve slept so soundly since getting this. It’s also helped me with warmth as I’m quite nesh. Really love it. Can’t recommend enough. The colour doesn’t match the picture though but it didn’t bother me.

Great for restless legs.
Love it, helped with my restless legs. But boy it is incredibly itchy. I use it on top of my quilt. But I fold my quilt down in the day time to air and left this blanket on top. Leaving me very itchy in the night I had to get up in the end.
