Definitely what I needed
I have a crew cab F250 and had a horrible time hooking up my trailer. I didnt want any back up system with a screen as to not tempt anyone from breaking in and stealing it. Understandably there is a delay in the phone connecting to the wifi. This is not a replacement for a factory or wireless. For me this works perfectly as I just need it for occasional use. Picture is clear and sharp. Wouldnt mind if the app showed a larger display but it's adequate. Im running a Note 8 and not sure why the app has such a low rating as it works the way it should. Frame is made from aluminum and appears solid. Easy two wire connection. Took me 15 minutes.

Reverse with confidence!
This is an excellent product. I did have a little trouble with the installation but that did not have anything to do with the product and everything to do with my vehicle. Because of the make and model of my vehicle and how the wiring is set up in the back, I am only able to use it while in reverse. I Later had an electrician assist me with trying to hook it up to a different power source but I am unable to. My license plate is attached to my truck door and the only power source I have to my truck door are the reverse lights. I would be able to attach to a different power source if I involve additional wiring but I do not want to do that. It’s not a big deal to me though because the only time I would need the camera is while the vehicle is operating in reverse.

Holy Grail of wireless cams!
2002 Jeep Grand CherokeeThis is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I wanted something wireless that didn't require me to run wires the entire length of the car AND connect to an external camera. I have a stock CD player that I didnt really want to upgrade. I definitely didn't want to mount a screen somewhere in my vehicle. This product is the ticket!Very sturdy frame and construction. Setup was super easy once you decide how and to what you want to wire it. The included wires are good quality and will allow for a strong connection. I wired mine to the power locks for my rear hatch window. It only receives power while the doors are unlocked. That means you can keep your cam powered while you drive, and rest easy about possibly ruining it by keeping it powered 24/7. Just lock your doors and the camera is powered off.Image quality met my expectations. Its not 3D iMax quality, but it's certainly as clear as anyone should need it. Night vision provides great contrast even with just your tail lights as illumination. It's not some sort of super vivid image, but it's not like you'll be using it for more than 10-15 seconds at a time. It's perfect for what I need and expected.Camera connects and gives you an image almost immediately once powered on. I haven't experienced any real lag as it has been streaming the image very well so far.Overall I'm extremely pleased and have no complaints. Problem solved!

The specifications is not correct in this item
Ok, first thing the image is not like said in the add, is maybe 60% of my screen (IPhone X plus). The quality of the image is really good in the day but is not the same in the night, the installment process is not to easy, you need to install the camera to one light on the back light in your car, in my case I put one 9V battery because I want to connection always with my phone but one light work too. In general I think is good this product but the specifications Is not correct in this item!

Wifi based reverse cam powered by power leader.
I have a 997.2 and used the wire harness from my passenger tail light to power the camera. Tapped into my reverse light and ground wire and voila! Camera uses a private wifi to connect, so the next project will be to create a script that connects wifi before launching the app.

Too Clumsy To Use
I installed this camera on my 2006 Toyota Tundra. While it is solidly made, it is very difficult to use. The camera's WiFi comes up very slowly. When backing from my garage, my IPhone 7 automatically links to my house WiFi, so I must go to settings, manually select the camera WiFi, open the back-up camera's app, then wait for the picture to appear on my phone. All in all, a time-consuming and difficult process. I don't recommend this product.

Go wireless!!!
A very unique product. I have been looking for a wireless back up camera and finally found it. A very versatile solution that permits the use of my own handheld device that gave me flexibility in placing the screen wherever I felt comfortable with I.e. windshield cellphone holder in my case

Software is just OK
Pretty straightforward install. Wish I had wired it to regular lights instead of backup lights so wouldn’t have to shift into reverse then connect phone and open app to see the image. I like that you can pivot the camera up and down to meet your needs.
