A little fiddly to get wires in but very solid once crimped.

Used with a plastic coated picture wire 2mm diameter. This meant that there was no fraying to block the threading of the crimps. They slid up to the sleeves and crimped easily. I was able to get the pliers to squeeze two points on the crimp, so confident. Heavy mirror no longer worrying me about staying on the wall...

Needed to make up new supports for climbing Rose's. Used these sleeves to form eyes in the ends of the wire & small turnbuckles to tension everything up. The sleeves were a good fit on 2mm wire & used an electrical crimping tool to secure them although a pair of pliers would do the job. Very pleased with the outcome.

The holes in the collet clips are indeed 2mm, but this is actually too small for a 2mm cable. When cut, the cut end of the cable will fray and expand slightly, making it impossible, or nearly so, to thread the cable end into the holes. While these are probably ideal for 1 or 1.5mm cable, a 2mm cable is better served with 3mm clips.
