BEWARE - not at all soft
Bought this for my Dad, who has thinning hair. This brush is very scratchy, hurts his head. And now unable to return, given returns policy

Very good natural bristle brush.
I liked the product however the vat and postage and package made it a very very expensive brush which I was not aware at purchase till I got an email with total amount.

Loses A LOT of bristles
Boar hair brushes are great for spreading your natural scalp oils through the length of your hair but do NOT waste your money on this brush. For almost $80 save your money and get a different brand, from day one this brush started losing bristles. Don't waste your money like I did wishing you bought a more study brush like a Mason Pierson

Costly but good
This brush appears to be a genuine Kent brush. I've had it for many months now and it's holding up well. As a previous reviewer noted it will deminish any body you may have in your "bangs" but knowing that it is easy to avoid. This brush is great for the main body of my shoulder length fine straight hair. Brushing with it is part of my daily routine....just don't over do it as you don't want to end up bald like Marsha.

Feels cheap
Honestly, not the quality I normally expect from Kent. It works, but the plastic handle feels flimsy. I worry that it's going to break off in my hand. Considering the price, I'm not sure why it couldn't have a better handle, like my suit brush.

Disappointed in Quality
This is my second purchase of this brush. I purchased it as a spare. When I did use it for the first time, I found all the middle bristles shorter than the outer bristles. It is defective. It is now too late to return or exchange because it is not offered on my Amazon page. I am not happy with this purchase and think quality control needs to be better. I wasted my money on this one and I am not happy about it.

Good, But Not the Best
This is a beautifully constructed boar bristle brush. However, they use Second Cut boar bristles instead of the premium First Cut boar bristles. For this reason, I chose the Jean Pierre brand over Kent. Also, this Kent brush has very stiff bristles so I would not recommend it to someone with fine hair or a sensitive scalp.
