Will this comforter be to warm for climate with temp 70 -76 degrees? I might wake up sweating.

I bought this insert 2 months ago for this year "extreme" Miami winter nights of 58 F. I loved it until now that the nights are back to the high 70s. Now we are sweating like crazy and we keep the AC at 70 degrees during the night, I can't imagine during summer time. So here I'm again looking for a thinner insert for my cover. This comforter is perfect for a not so cold weather but not for warm weather in my experience.

Yes! I have had this comfortable for a year now. It is really perfect for ant season. So weightless and very comfortably warm. I pair it with thicker sheets or my electric blanket in winter but for California's weather, I think it's the best comforter I've ever owned. It has survived my cat's claws several washings and not a thread loose on the thing.

does it have ties on the corners?

It has loops to tie on the cover. However, the cover I bought does not have the ties.

Can I use it in summer time with a/c?

nothing as far as being a "down alternative"prevents you from using it.I guess it depends on the individual.personally mine comes off my bed and goes in the closet for Summer.I guess it boils down to...if you want/need a quilt(of any sort)with air conditioning maybe the air conditioning needs to be turned down-just sayin-
