Good printer for the price, but
For the price its a good color laser printer. The issues I have with it are - it uses an older set of buttons to access the menus, which can be cryptic and difficult to find at times. Also, while fine for home usage, it is slow in Copy mode - it is actually faster to print 10 copies than it is to Copy 10 copies. Why this should be, I don't know - but as an "office work horse", this is more of a reliable donkey - it gets the job done but perhaps not as fast as you would like,

Very versatile printer for the cost, can work with El Capitan
Brilliant color prints, easy setup, and works on Mac OS X El Capitan with an easy workaround. I have not had a paper jam yet.Pros- Relatively small footprint for a 2011 model- Brilliant color performance- Solid WiFi and ability to configure via a web browser- VERY CHEAP third party toner refills (this was the buying factor for me, all four toners for $30 from a third party on Amazon)Cons- Slower print and scan speeds compared to newer models- No duplex unit, you will have to manually flip the pageConfiguring for OS X El Capitan:Xerox has not updated their driver for this printer yet, you will have to use their OS X Yosemite drivers. However, El Capitan's System Integrity Protection will prevent you from installing the drivers successfully. So, you will need to disable the protection, install the drivers, and then re-enable the protection once finished. Once you've done this Xerox will work flawlessly.STEPS:- Disable SIP1. Reboot you mac and then hold the COMMAND and R button to boot into recovery mode.2. Open the Terminal by clicking on the Utilities tab > Terminal option in the top-menu3. Disable csrutil and Reboot by typing 'csrutil disable; reboot' without the ' ' and hit enter- Install OS X Yosemite Driver4. Download and open the driver from Xerox, double click on the dmg file and follow the installation prompt, it should complete and ask to restart.5. Once restarted add the Printer/Scanner (it should be visible), in the 'Use:' dropdown select 'Xerox WorkCentre 6015NI v1.010', and it should work fine- Enable SIP1. Reboot you mac and then hold the COMMAND and R button to boot into recovery mode.2. Open the Terminal by clicking on the Utilities tab > Terminal option in the top-menu3. Enable csrutil and Reboot by typing 'csrutil enable; reboot' without the ' ' and hit enter- DONE

1 star from customer support alone. I knew I should have gotten a Brother printer.
Wow. Broken out of the box and when I called Xerox customer support I was told "We can't help you because we only help the area you're calling from between the hours of 8AM to 5PM."Seriously? I've called tech support lines before and gotten automated messages saying their offices are closed before. (And yes, that's understandable.) But I've never actually been told that I can't be helped because of some arbitrary bull**** designed to save their company money at the cost of technical support.I'm debating about the merits of getting this printer fixed or just returning it and getting a different company's printer just on my experiences in the last hour alone.

Very Unimpressed!
So I've been looking for a color laser printer for a while and decided to try out this Xerox because of the great price. In my opinion it was a big mistake! Maybe it's because I'm used to Brother and HP printers but this unit was terrible (I returned it). First, let me say that the actual prints are beautiful - I have no problem with the prints. What I have problems with is the actual setup and user interface. I consider myself a "techie" so I usually figure out devices pretty quickly. Not so with this one - setup is not easy, wireless setup is even worse (terrible wireless setup). Not to say I didn't figure it out because I did but even then the wireless didn't work accurately, I could never get it to work with Google Cloud Print consistently.Look at the photo I attached - it's a pic of the keypad. Besides for the number keys the buttons don't explain anything! There's a green button, yellow button, red button. Buttons with some icons with many that don't make sense either. Which button starts a copy, which button starts a fax, which button is the power button? What's the display led button on the top right, how do I get into the menu? Then there's a multi-color button on the bottom left. I know the instructions will explain it but I won't remember it and more importantly my wife and kids will NEVER figure it out. After a few weeks I decided I had to get rid of it. Now I'm looking for another and I'll go with either HP or Brother (I really love my brother laser black and white).

Xerox rises from the ashes with a me little printer
Except for the network software and configuration, this is a very nice printer MFP. Had another brand before, a giant behemoth that sucked toner from its little drums and dumped it into the waste container. This little gem sits under my desktop shelf and pumps out pages quickly and of high quality. The scanner from network is totally quirky, and I have not been able to get that to work, even with Xerox kind support staff. On the other hand, our little Kodak inkjet will scan for anybody on the network with no problems. Probably Xerox needs a software upgrade, heaven help me when windows 10 comes out. Anyway, so far I am happy with this LED printer, and scanning from USB works fine. Got here fast. So overpacked that UPS could have dropped it from the truck box and not hurt it.

hours on phone to set up
My old MF machine ( canon ) died so I bought this Xerox since it uses the same ink as do my Xerox printers.Once the support center opened it took me over an hour to get the ADF and the copy function working. It kept telling me I had the wrong size paper.A lot of work on the phone.... serial number on unit in two places and two different numbers !! Xerox told me the unit was still in a USA shipping facility. Well I was looking at it so ...]We did get it working after a lot of effort and now it works fine as a copier, and fax machine. I do not use it as a printer nor in a wireless mode.
