Will the L4S 'shine through' cardstock? I need to be able to trace something onto cardstock from a transparency sheet.

I've tested and can see pretty clearly through 2 sheets of 100lbs bristol paper.

I just bought this product. Do you always have to keep it plugged in or will it charge enough to turn on with out plugging it in?

Good news for USB owners - I plugged mine into a Mini 2600mah portable power bank charger and it powers on! I assume I can get a few hours out of it. Right now I'm testing if there's a battery to charge in mine. I'll update this answer with my findings.
