Headphone Jack Adapter Dongle for iPhone Xs/Xs Max/XR/ 8/8 Plus/X (10) / 7/7 Plus Adapter to 3.5mm Splitter Converter Compatible Charger and Listen to Music Aux Adapter Audio + Charge Adaptor

So I recently bought the iphone XR and didn't realize that the phone didn't have a port for a pair of regular headphones. I tried the headphones that came with the phone, they plug into the charging port which was ok but the headphones themselves hurt my ears and the sound was less than stellar. I bought this because I could still use my SkullCandy headphones and it had the bonus charging port. Surprise to me when plugged in and listening it picks up feedback and static and the charging port doesn't work. And randomly today I started getting messages saying that the phone doesn't support this device. Not worth the money.

The socket for the audio plug was very tight. Had to really push the plug in hard, otherwise the sound was very scratchy.But the bigger issue is that the volume control on the plugged in headphones is unable to control the volume on the cell phone, like all Apple provided headphone are able to do. This is a big drawback and it should have been in their product description.Even the charging socket was very tight.Overall, it seems to be poorly manufactured product.Need to wait for a year at least, before rating its durability.

Worked well for a week, then started ‘disconnecting’ itself from the phone if I moved it too much (such as lifting it too high, etc. It wasn’t being moved more than average.) Then, after a month, it died completely.Don’t get me wrong— I’m not a picky person. I’m usually very lenient with things when they weren’t super expensive to begin with. But 10.99 for this when it lasted all of a month? That’s a rip off. A big one. I was hoping for more with this item but I was let down.

Overall, I would like to give this product a good review. It feels nice. I thought it might be plastic, but the silver is actually metal and the wire feels somewhat sturdy. Overall, appearance and feel is great. However, I give it two because I've had this approximately 5 hours and it's already showing me signs off being iffy. It's selective of when it wants to charge which makes me nervous. And there's times where it doesn't want to play headphones either. At first the headphone aux didn't even want to fully fit into the port for headphones. It just seems like its going to be selective and it might break in a couple days. If it does, I might have to contact the seller...

This is a terrible product. I can listen to music in my car for about 2 min. before is disconnects. Then I have to restart the music only to have sound come through my phone and not my car speakers. Eventually it switches to the car speakers but come on! Also, if I charge my phone at the same time the sound quality is terrible....like so terrible I just turn it off.

Basically the product works. I needed to "wiggle" it to get the connection to work. When using the AUX cord and charging the metal parts become excessively hot. Concerns this will cause damage to my phone so have stopped using.

Looks snazzy.When I plugged it in my phone let me know I needed to unlock to use accessory but the the thing was so flaky I could barely finish anything before it would disconnect...

I like the look of this but there is a delay after you plug it in, to when it starts charging or playing through an auxiliary cord or headphones. The delay is annoying. Very annoying
