In the short description it said the material was cotton so I was surprised when I received this rough, woven canvas in the mail. To call it a rug, carpet, crawling mat, or anything that implies this is soft is misleading. I see now that the more elaborate description calls it 'cotton canvas', but this material feels just like a paint drop cloth. Not comfy.I had intended to use this as a play mat for a newborn nursery but it's just too rough so it will likely go in my older kiddo's playroom instead.That being said, it is otherwise as pictured. Cute design, and certainly durable.

This is a perfect rug for playtime. The texture is something similar to a thick muslin, definitely durable. Easily washable, but the printed world graphic loses it's quality, similar to a graphic printed t-shirt when washed. Darling rug and addition to the kids' playroom. We use it on top of the carpet in the room and on the wood floor in the living room. If you are looking for a soft playmates, this is not the one for you. If you are looking for something strong and durable with a super cute graphic, you should consider adding this :)

So I will say this is an adorable product, but its definitely not a rug by any means, it is more a tapestry, or a blanket, it's really not a rug at all so that's extremely disappointing. However it is adorable and I love it so I guess I'll just hang it on his wall

Great quality, looks durable. I bought it to cover my dog's bed, still intact. I'll say that the fabric is a little rough for babies.

Super cute for baby nursery but on the first wash the edges shriveled up and it’s more oval than round now also doesn’t lay flat on the floor

This product is adorable ! it is very thin and the material gets dirty quickly and does not come clean very well. However, we also have a dog and my boyfriend refuses to take his shoes off in the house lol so if you are pet and shoe free this should not be a problem! I have even used this item to take maternity pictures with because it is so adorable!

Not what I thought it was going to be. It’s very thin and feels like a burlap bag.

It’s a great rug but it does not have a grip in order for it to stay in place. It slides. It’s somewhat of a nui·sance.
