Binocs are nice! Packaging was not great…
Product seems fine. Shipping condition was not good. Shipped in own box with no packing. Beat up and partially open. I don’t think this is the sellers fault so I’m just rating the product for now.

Nice Optics For The Money!
These binoculars were a gift to accompany an astronomical telescope, given as a graduation present. Astronomical applications are a bit more demanding on optics than terrestrial applications typically are, and these binoculars delivered decent star images for their respective cost. NOTE: The "diopter" on the binos I received was a bear to turn and adjust until it got worked around a few dozen times, and if you've got large hands as I do, the screw-out eye cups will get in the way of your twisting the diopter (someone with smaller fingers would not be bothered by this). But once the diopter gets worn in, all is well. I find that many people never learn to use a binocular correctly, as they don't adjust the diopter to suit their individual eye strengths. Most of us, by the time we're adults, have slightly different eye strengths between our left and right eyes, and if you don't adjust your binos to accommodate this, they will never function optimally for you and you'll never be getting you money's worth out of them. Binoculars are ostensibly two small refracting telescopes joined together to yield a binocular (a/k/a stereo) view. To adjust a binocular for your eyes, do the following: 1) Pick a distant, bright target. I like to use a bright star or planet. But it can be anything--a STOP sign, say. 2) Cover the objective lens (at the front) on the side of the binocular that does not have a diopter adjustment for the eyepiece. Now, look at your target and focus it as sharply as you can, using the center focusing adjustment, viewing through that side of the binocular only. Is the image as sharp as you can get it? 3) Now, cover the objective lens you just looked through in Step 2, and look at your target again through the other side. This time, adjust the focus using only the diopter wheel on the eyepiece you are looking through (do not touch the center focuser). Rotate the diopter left or right until your target is as sharp as it is going to get. When the image is sharp--you're done! 4) Uncover both objective lenses and have at it--the binocular has been adjusted for your eyes! From here out, just use the center focuser on anything you want to look at! If you didn't know this, and haven't done this, most of you will be surprised at how much improvement you'll see immediately. And unless somebody readjusts the diopter, you should be set for any viewing you want to do. Since I share my binos with my wife, I usually reset the diopter before any viewing session, as it takes just seconds to do so. RayB

Great Binos
I purchased these for my mother who is an avid hunter and has been for several years now. The Aculon model is an economically priced model that delivers. These binoculars are very clear and focus tremendously well. I chose the 8x42 set so that they wouldn't be very bulky, and are comfortable to either tote in a pack or wear around the neck while stalking. These are perfectly sized for our type of hunting, which is deer and turkey in mostly forested Alabama. With highline right of ways and very broad gas line right of ways running through our property, these do remarkably well even at only 8 power, viewing game and other wildlife at distances of several hundred yards. 42mm is also a sufficient viewing window, and the eyepieces fit comfortably on your eye sockets(which is a biggie for me, as my focus point is very close and most of the time the eyepiece is against my eye socket). I've hunted for over 20 years and have been through trial and error with optics, but Nikon has yet to disappoint me. I strive for a descent priced set of binoculars but I will not settle for losing clarity, comfort, or quality, and this pair fit my bill perfectly. I would recommend this pair of binoculars to any hunter or outdoorsperson who is looking for a set that is for moderate range (they're not going to pull a buck in for a 20x-zoom close up from 1000 yards to let you count kickers) easy to carry, clear, easy to focus, comfortable, and economically priced.

Superb optics
This is the second time I have bought this item. My visiting daughter was so impressed with the optics I gifted the first pair to her and replaced them later. The only problem with both pairs was that the right side eyepiece focus adjustment was frozen solid. I had to use considerable force with a channel lock pliers to free them and in the second pair to drip some alcohol into the threads to free them. I presume that the "refurbishment" involved disabling the focus! In spite of this I was so impressed with the optics that there was no way I would return them, especially for the price. I have now bought a third pair! These did not have the frozen eyepiece adjustment. Again they were well collimated with wide field and sharp clear images.

Great For General Use
If you want a general purpose binocular that is clear, bright, easy to use with good eye relief that actually focuses, and not to pricey, these glasses are a great product. I don't know whether they are waterproof, fog proof, dust proof, can see in the dark, or are droppable, but I don't care. When you pick them up to use them, you can see the objective clearly and brightly. A good buy for the money.

Excelente campo de visão, nitidez e qualidade de construção. A carrying case é bem resistente, e a alça parece firme.

I’ve always wanted a good size binoculars, a Nikon brand for the longest time. Finally decided to purchase this one after reading all the good reviews. It is well built and has good optics at this price point. Easy to use and is not heavy. My only issue was that I spotted a speck of dirt in the top right corner of the lens. It is within the binoculars so it cannot be removed nor cleaned by myself. I expected better QC from Nikon. Otherwise this reviewed would have undoubtedly garnered 5 starts.
