Works like a Charm on my 77/44!
Ruger's set up is good, but this mount opens you up to other Scope options. Well made, looks like it belongs. I'm happy with it.

Waste of Money
bolted right up,,,,, except for the .116 gap at the rear to offset the barrel height. Having a BLOCK made ( .500W X .116H X 2" L in order to make this picatanny stationary. Never again; $50.+ BALLS!
