Gr8 stuff
I purchased this iron board recently and it is very well satisfying my need. This iron board is gr8 if you want to sit down and have to iron comfortably. It is very well priced too. If you do not want to stand and press your clothes then this board is a good choice. It has space to keep hot iron while using this which makes it hassle free. It is sleek and does not require too much space to store. This iron board is working gr8 for me.

Folds away into my closet, and is large enough for my dress shirts
Polder Tabletop Ironing BoardI just don't have enough space in my house for a full ironing board, so I gave this compact tabletop board a try. It is sized just right to hold a men's dress shirt. Instead of metal, it uses a wooden platform with a cotton cushioned cover. The cover looks yellowish/white and dirty, so I kind of wish they used a different material to improve the appearance. The metal stand is easy to fold out, and once I am done with the board, it tucks away into my closet without any fuss. If you do a lot of ironing or require frequent ironing of trousers, I'd recommend a larger board.Overall: 5/5 stars, great price, compact as advertised, and works perfectly for ironing my dress shirts.

not sturdy enough for us big guys
Pretty handy little item, but not for the rough and tough ironing when you are pushing down hard to do a heavy garment.Although the pad itself appeared well made, and doesn't need a cover (don't even know if you can buy one), the stand was flimsy. The metal frame was thin and didn't stand up to aggressive ironing without annoying movement (up and down). The board tended to have a "mushy" feel when pressing down hard. My wife said that it was not made for gorillas. LOL But it still beats ironing on a bare table. Worth the price, but would have paid a few more dollars for a sturdier unit.

Suits my basic ironing needs.
I live in a small convertible apartment with very little storage space. I am a white collar professional guy who wears dress shirts and pants quite often, and generally need to do some light ironing on my clothing before I wear it. Everything that requires ironing that I dress in gets drycleaned and hung in a closet (not folded) so heavy ironing is not typically needed. This is my iron: Panasonic NI-S300TR 1200-Watt Steam Iron with Curved Titanium-Coated Soleplate, White/Green Notable benefits:* This board collapses and expands nicely. When collapsed it fits well leaning against the wall in my closet and is hassle free to expand and collapse.* The hanger area on the end (shown expanded out of the non-rounded part of the board in the photos) pushes in and out nicely.* Sitting on my dining table, the board is very stable when I'm ironing. (This is my dining table: Winsome Wood Black and Chrome Pub Table )Possible concerns:* Other reviewers have noted that this board warps over time. Mine is relatively new and I have not noticed any warping but will update this review if it does.* I have not tried hanging many clothes on the hanger end of the board as they go straight into my closet when I am done ironing - based off how heavy your clothing is, there may be some tipping danger here.Bottom line:If you have light to moderate basic ironing needs and live in a small space, this board can do the job well and can be easily stored. For the price, well worth it.

Very disappointed!
This board is crap! I didn't expect all that much for the money it cost, but it has shortcomings that make it unusable! First it came missing one of the rubber feet of two that keep it from sliding off of you table surface and also protecting it from being scratched. I tried to call customer service at all possible times of the day and always get forwarded to a voicemail box that is full. The board itself is not flat. Where the unsupported section is, it is warped down. Also--it didn't occur to me while purchasing it, but you can't hang pants, shirts, etc. over while ironing naturally because they will rest on whatever your surface may be (bed, table, etc.). So the shirt/pants get bunched up and causes wrinkles rather than hanging freely. It only gets the two stars because of the cheap price, small footprint, and easy hidability while not in use.

Fine - but there are better options. UPDATED
UPDATE: Apparently, since I purchased this, Amazon is now offering this under their FREE SHIPPING program. However, there is still the issue of the cover.Bought this because it was promoted when I bought my new iron, and reviews said it'd be perfect for my limited condo space. It is nice and small - though a bit too small for my tastes. For $10.00, I don't regret the purchase (though there was an over $8 shipping charge added on to that - they don't really alert to you - since it didn't come directly from Amazon.)FYI, it doesn't really have a cover on it - unless you count the cotton covered board it's built with. Although this works just fine, would recommend going to TARGET - where I've since learned I could buy pretty much the same board - without waiting for it to be shipped, for the 10 bucks --- but with my choice of a designer cover.

I received this ironing board several weeks ago and have used it twice. I noticed on the second use severe cracking and buckling of the enamel on the frame. I am VERY unhappy with this item.
