Value and functionality
I am giving it five stars because of being able to clip on a windowsill and it’s price. However, I have bought several of these fans oner the years and while the motor and fan continued to work, the fan “cage” is thin and disintegrated over time on each of the fans, which then had to be thrown out. If this fan were made of metal it would justifiably command a higher price - - and be worth it.

Good fan to its size
This is a good fan but doesn't blow much but it blows to its size. Hardly no noise easy to use and its light weight.....I would recommend and I would buy again...I got it to clip yo the top of my bed for my puppy cuz she's hot natured so it works for her.

Works as it should.
Nice small fan. Quiet and works well. Rather cheaply made but inexpensive and works well.

Would Recommend!
Feels great, it helps when I can't afford AC during On-peak hours. Noise isn't too loud, size is great & performs well!

Many parts are loose, pads are too small to hold up the fan
We expected to really like this little fan. But it is defective - wasn’t built right at the factory, and so many parts are loose in ways that we can’t fix ourselves. The fan itself is loose on the little pole, and the whole thing shakes and vibrates so badly, we dont dare run it on high. The pads on the clip are so small, they don’t hold the weight of the fan, so the clip tilts and then the whole thing tilts farther even though the clip itself grips ok (ok, not strong). And the switch is loose too, so turning it on and off is a slide, not a click, and we have to check and worry to make sure it is off. The clip and fan were easy to assemble, just one screw, but nut was loose in the box, the plastic doesnt have a deep-enough seat for the nut, and the nut is very thin, so we had a hard time finding the nut, and when we put it together, we couldnt make make that extra tiny bit of a turn that makes you sure it is tight enough. It just spun slowly and didnt grab onto the plastic. But while it is running on low, it moves air up to about 18 inches away, and low is a quiet hum. Less air moving than you would expect. So we will chat with amazon customer service to see if they will accept a return and refund. And we will probably keep trying to find our old Holmes, which looked the same but was built better and lasted maybe 4 years straight of constant use.

Doesn't blow lots of air...but that's ok
I had a small fan that I clipped onto my window sill that died on me. So I looked around and bought this fan since it was the same type and color as my previous fan. I clipped it to my window sill, plugged it in, and turned it on and right away I noticed that it didn't push out very much air, even on a higher setting. I bought another fan from Walmart that was the same type and color and it worked great! This fan I put away in my closet.Skip ahead 6 months or so and I start a new job and it's a tad bit warm in my office and there's no way to change the temperature. By mid morning and all afternoon I'm sweating a bit too much. The girl I share an office with is kinda thin and thinks it's chilly every now and then. I remember this fan I bought that's sitting in my closet that doesn't put out a lot of air. I bring it in to my office and clip it on a table edge that's right behind me and it's perfect! It blows cool air on me, but not a lot, so my office mate doesn't even notice. It's just right and cools me down and I haven't started sweating once since I started using it!To sum this up this fan works pretty good in the right setting, but doesn't work very well in other typical settings.

2am Purchase Gone Right
Ok, so I may have purchased this at 2 am after waking up in a fit of rage cuz I was sweating. BUT! As far as 2 am, spontaneous purchases made out of irrational anger go, this was the best one so far! Haven't had any complaints. I have a loft bed, and unfortunately, the cord was just a little too short to reach the outlet by about an inch. But it worked out great cuz I have an extension cord. I love that I can angle the fan wherever, and it just clips onto the bed frame. Noise level? I am the kind of person who sleeps in complete silence, so it took a little bit of adjusting, but it really isn't loud at all, especially in comparison to a regular, on-the-floor fan. I really like it, and my friends want me to shut up about how excited I am about this purchase. Might be silly, but I really, really love this fan, and it's worth the money

I’m a fan!
I love this little fan. It is perfect for clipping on to a bookshelf or nightstand and supplies two speeds of nice, cool air. It does not oscillate, so you need to point it in the direction you want, but it has a very good range so this is not hard to do. There is a little hum, but nothing too distracting. It’s surprisingly sturdy and I have left mine on for multiple days.
