Large format printing.

I bought 5 or 6 of these printer cartridges for my HP Designjet. They worked, albeit with about 75% of the print quality compared to a genuine HP cartridge. The print lines were not crisp at all. So I was using these for test prints and switching to an HP cartridge for my final prints.About 6 months ago, I ran out of ink in the OCinkjet and got another out of my closet. Since that was the last one I had, I ordered two more. Fast forward about 6 weeks, that one ran dry as well. I got one of the two I just bought out of the closet, installed it in the printer and .................... nothing. The printer would not recognize the cartridge. I took it out and reinstalled several times, but it kept showing error on the control panel. Finally, I put my genuine HP cartridge in and it worked fine.So I started to compare the two cartridges to see what was different. The only difference I could find was that two plastic tabs on the front of the genuine cartridge, right below the label, were broken off on both of the OCinkjet cartridges. (You can see the right one sticking up in the photo) I got the used OCinkjet cartridge that ran dry out of my garbage can and that one had the two plastic tabs as well. Those tabs are needed for the printer to recognize that a cartridge is installed.I contacted Amazon to return the two defective cartridges and they in turn sent that request to OCinkjet. My request was denied by OCinkjet because I didn't return the cartridges within 30 days of purchasing them. So what? It says right on the page, One year factory warranty against product defect! They never replied. I sent it again. Crickets.So OCinkjet's one year warranty is really only good for 30 days and I am out 20 bucks. Needless to say, I will not be buying any more from this company.

Was not recognized as the right cartridge type by our 650C when first installed, but powering it off and on got around that check. Worked ok for 1 roll of paper and then out of ink. Genuine cartridge lasted 4 rolls.

It is getting really hard to find cartridges that work in on old design jet 450 but this one will keep me going for a while longer.

I purchase these remanufactured ink cartridges from OCProducts every couple of months. They work great in our large format printer, and I save 80% off the retail list price!

It is full of ink still, but won't print a drop. When I first installed the cartridge, It printed but with many bands of missing pixels. It kind of cured itself with some use and the printer's 'clean cartridges' feature. I printed the equivalent of 5 sheets of 8.5/11 before it quit completely. (It's in a large format printer, so it effective printed 1 page.)
