Intex River Run II

This is now the second summer we have had this tube. We live about 5 minutes from the Delaware River in PA and go tubing all of the time. We used it about 6 times last summer, and have already used about 3 times this summer. It is the ONLY tube we have ever had (and believe me, we have had a LOT) that hasn't had to have a leak repaired. It is super comfortable and fits both my husband and myself without deflating. My husband is 6'4" and is a BIG man. I am also 5'7" and am not a tiny woman either but this tube has held us up (along with one or both of our kids jumping and bouncing on it during our tubing adventures). Everytime we take it out I tell my husband it is the best $ 35.00 we ever spent. It is definitely worth a LOT more (considering some single tubes cost more than that). It is also super easy (and quick) to blow up. It blows up in less than a minute, including the two head rests and cooler (faster than some single tubes we have blown up). The attached cooler is also a great feature since it holds so much. When we don't use it as a "cooler", we use it for storage (i.e., our river shoes that we get tired of wearing during our run or my husband's T shirt, our sunglasses, etc.). If we want to take drinks, we will bring our own small cooler, store our "stuff" on the bottom and then put our cooler on the top. Sometimes even a small cooler can weigh a lot due to the ice, but the raft never gets "weighed down" from it. It is just a GREAT river raft. I can not say enough about the room, the quality, and the comfort. The reason I am writing this review now is that we love this raft so much that we just ordered another one for our two kids. P.S. The Delaware River can get very shallow in some areas in the summer time, so much so that in certain places you can't help but hit rocks. With that being said, this tube has never had a leak, and believe me, it has taken some abuse. You will NOT go wrong with this purchase!

They are awsome and strong/durable thick material. We bought a whole set and had to buy more for a few friends for a springs trip. Recommend for pool river or even out on the boat!

I swam out to get this raft which had been blown off a houseboat on Dale Hollow lake. I was exhausted after swimming back to the boat and was unable to climb up the front of the boat so I opted to go around to the back of the ship where there was a ladder. The driver/captain, thinking I got on the front of the boat successfully, started the engine and turned the houseboat toward me. As the ship turned into me, I lost my grip onto the side of the ship and was swept completely under it. The only thing that kept me from getting pulled into the engine was this raft.The rubber handle that I held onto with my (literal) death grip flexed but did not fail under the extreme pull of the ship pushing into it while it pulled me from my gruesome demise. Further, the thick high-quality material of this raft also did not rip from contact with the rough side of the ship. Coughing up water, I thanked myself for buying a raft of this quality from Amazon and not some $10 one I saw at a grocery store.The cup holders of the raft worked great later that day to help me and my wife recover from the sobering ordeal. Bottles are held in the cup holders snugly and stay put when you have a less-than-graceful dismount. The raft stayed fully inflated all weekend and was the perfect size - big enough to hold two adults comfortably but not so big that it looks ridiculous. The rubber meshing under the seats is strong and seems very durable. This raft has five inflation points: two for the cooler, two for the blue seat backs and one for the raft's main body. Don't plan on blowing this one up manually.Thank you Intex for not cutting any corners with this bad boy and thank you Amazon for stocking it!

I love not having to worry about anyone else when I go tubing. I have my beverages - they have theirs.Cons: Mesh/plastic bottom ripped on one side during the first use. Not a huge deal, but something to mention. Cooler part is hard to keep inflated as you insert the stopper. Very large/a little heavy. Box was damaged when received, but product was fine. My friend purchased the single Intex River Run tube and it popped about 30 minutes into our trip on a rock. They feel pretty sturdy and thick, so I think that was just unlucky.Pros: Huge and comfortable. Holds a good amount of cans - I would say 24 with ice with the potential for more with less ice. I like having the mesh bottom so you can keep other things with you in the tube. Blows up very quickly with an inflatable pump, also deflates very easily because of the large air output hole.

Great price and got it quick. Had fun with it just playing around. Cooler holds a lot, but doesn't work very well which isn't a major concern. The entire tube other than the head rests is one chamber. Very large sitting area and comfortable to sit in. We had 5 of these in a river and 2 popped rather quickly (we took a chance and it back-fired on us). The patch that comes with it works great, but is not very large. If you are in a river with a lot of branches and trees I would recommend you get a more durable tube (or go with the single tube as it is easier to control). I searched for covers, but could not find any. Worth the money, just be careful where you use it.

Sturdy for 6’3” grandpa on one side and 40 lb grandkid on other. No weight distribution issues at all. Ordered two more. Definitely a good purchase for floating down the river

I just got it and opened it up. No way will I be able to get it back in to the box...its huge! Im very excited to show up at the beach with it this summer!!!

I love this thing! We bought it for the cottage and just anchor it off the dock so we can swim out and and float on the lake. It even has a build in cooler to hold ice and drinks so you stay out there for a while.

Bought this as a gift xmas 2013.. Still in awesome shape. Super comfy, and the cooler actually works.
