... unit through several power outages and couldn't be more satisfied with the results
I've used this unit through several power outages and couldn't be more satisfied with the results. Plenty of power for the necessary items like well pump and A/C. Ran for 7 1/2 hours during one stretch with no problems. Easy starter even after sitting idle for months at a time. Only issue I have is the gas cap is hard to remove. Otherwise a good value and strong runner.

Sorry I waited so long
My husband is disabled and he loves this generator. He can start it with no problem. We have lost power 2 times and were very happy to have it. It runs very quiet and has more than enough power for us. It runs our entire home like we never lost power. We highly recommend this item for everyone.

Junk
I have had very little use of this generator. It will no longer start and I am told the engine is past being fixable. This is apparently nothing but Chinese Junk. I threw away a lot of monry.

good generator for the money
I don't know why everyone is giving this generator bad reviews. For the price it is a good machine. Remember you are not buying a honda here. I bought one 2 years ago and have had to use it about half a dozen times since. I live in Alaska and it gets cold in the winter. Both times that I had to use the machine it was middle of winter. Never had any problems with it. I do not use the electric start so couldn't comment on that but fired up every time on 2nd pull for me. The only thing that I found so far that I do not like is that the 110 outlets are not protected very well and the last time I used it around 0 degree's outside I broke a piece of the outlet while unplugging a cord. The outlet does however still work just has a small chip that cracked and fell off in the extreme cold weather. If you are going to be using a generator on a daily basis (carpentry or whatever) buy a Honda but if you just want something for a back up when the power goes out then this will suit you fine. Oh and for the people blowing the breakers on this thing that is because your putting too much load on the machine. Any generator will blow the breaker if you over load it. Total Garbage
If you like pain, this is the generator for you! I have had the misfortune of trying two of these horrendous generators. The first had several broken items that I didn't notice until I was ready to start it. Is seems that AllPower thinks a box alone is sufficient to protect the generator. Nope, the starter fuse holder was completely crushed. Drain oil, return, get new one. The second box was pristine and the unit appeared to be in working order. Assemble, add oil, add gas, push electric start - nothing. Grr, The pull start brought it to life and it was surprisingly not as load as expected. Plugged a lamp into a 120V outlet to test and flipped the very flimsy breakers - nothing. The breaker switch only work when half thrown. Checked battery voltage and it was fine. broken starter. Drain oil, drain gas, return - get money back. Never again. Save your money and avoid this cheaply built piece of junk. I wouldn't trust it to run my blender let alone anything more important.
