Midea WHS-65LSS1, 1.6 Cu. Ft. Compact Refrigerator, Stainless Steel

I purchased this refrigerator to keep out by the pool. It is outside but in a custom made shelving unit that is enclosed on three sides. It sits back from the roof overhang about 8-9". So it will get some exposure to blown rain from the front, but not on top, back or sides. Should be interesting to see how it holds up. It will be outside during the pool season (Apr - Oct). With days in the mid-90's, it had no trouble keeping sodas/water cool and ice frozen. In fact I had to turn it down from 6 to 4 1/2 to find the ideal temperature. Coldest without freezing beverages. Outside it's very hard to tell when it's running because its quiet. I went with stainless so their might be less chance for rust on the more exposed front panel. I will update after next summer.

OK, I had reservations on this little guy but after seeing all the positive feedback I purchased it for my boat. Ya I know it's only AC but why pay $1000 for AS/DC just to kill your batteries while out at sea. I just want it to chill my beers so when I stop by the boat to relax, I have a cold one waiting for me. Here's the trick, put a blue ice in the freezer section while your away from the dock. I bring a cooler with me when I leave the dock and don't open the frig that much. I can't believe that for only $88, you can buy a refrig/freezer that actually is quiet. It arrived on time, in perfect shape and is quiet as a mouse, I have to open it to make sure it's working. It also makes ice just fine...for $88 I'm extremely happy

Have had this for over a month now. It keeps my cold food and drinks nice and cool. I usually leave it at setting 4. Even though this is a cooler, it can freeze ur food, albit very limited. There is a small upper right compartment within this mini frig that u can place pizza pockets or similiar size food that u want it frozen.Minus, sometimes the mini cooler does make some whining noise and humming noise? Abit louder than i usual.Aside from the minor noise issue, (maybe one can adjust to lvl 3 or lower) the cooler will work less hard?Overall, i think the cooler does its job while having a nice clean look to it. I use this cooler mainly for drinks, and sometimes cold snacks, and it does its job on those regards

Great Fridge for the garage! Keeps drinks super cold (Which I like)Garage is not insulated. So far it has worked thru the entire summer and winter in outside environment. Meaning it is not being used indoors where it is climate controlled. I know I am taking a risk on increasing the chances of this fridge on failing but it has not yet.Storage:- Stores a lot of drink cans or bottles.- Can store 2 12 pack of cans or a 12 pack of beer bottles. (Will need to place them accordingly to fit)- It has nice small storage compartment for ice trays inside.Operation:- Runs very quite for a mini fridge.- Cold adjustment settings on back.Overall Verdict:Really like this fridge! Capable of storing a lot of drinks or food items. Very pleased with this product and its operation thus far.

My office is QUIET and this is in my cubicle in a shared space. My cube neighbor cant hear this fridge when its cooling. If you're right up next to it you can hear a low swishing sound, but it's very minimal. That was my concern when looking through the reviews, but it is quiet. It gets VERY cold to where I had to turn the dial down to a 3 so it doesn't freeze food under the ice compartment. For the price I would 100% buy again. I never leave reviews, but I was so happy with this purchase that I wanted to share. :)

Use for Mom at nursing faciltiy when kitchen is closed .I can keep special foods ,I can buy or small dishes to eat if she slept through dinner. Or special types of puddings or drinks the facility may not have; Mom gets tired of same strawberry yogurt. Now I can buy her peach . If I make banana pudding ,I can take a sm. dish for her to share!Great for upstairs also or dorm room! Easy to keep clean . Need to buy inside thermostat for it to monitor tempurature tho" ! But love it!!!

I used this product to help keep expensive medications cool in my office thinking it would extend the life of them. I drew up meds for a patient’s procedure and went to the next room. When I came back 30 min later the ice box I thawed covering the medications in water. I had to throw away $1200 in Botox. I called the company and they tried to ask every question possible to place the blame of an error on me. Patrice would not give an extension or call back number. She checked the warranty and said because the manufacturer date was Feb 2019 I was out of luck even though I didn’t but it until May and was still within a year of purchase. I purchased two at the time and the second fridge works without issues. I wish people took pride in their products but you won’t find that with A Midea fridge.

So far, so good with this fridge. After hours of research, we settled on this fridge, and we've been really happy with it for the past couple of weeks. It's super quiet—we keep it near our bedroom but it doesn't disturb us at all with compressor noise, which we were worried about. Even when I'm right next to it, all I hear (sometimes) is a slight bubbling noise in the back. This fridge gets COLD, too. (In fact, our milk froze solid when I turned the knob to 75% of it's max cooling power, so keep that in mind!) It's also nice-looking—the chrome front is a nice touch.
