Do these eventually rust like every other "stainless steel" ring I've purchased?

I bought these in 2016 (satin nickel) and they have not rusted. My bathroom is very humid because the house sold and it doesn't have an exhaust fan. I added a dehumidifier. The nickel does need to have the tarnish cleaned but 5 years is a long time before it needed to be polished. I think some people are mistaking Nickle tarnish for rust. Clean them in 50% white vinegar and water mixture.

How long does the shower curtain hand from the rod? My rod is a little high and I would like to buy regular length curtains. Thanks!

The roller ring itself is approx. 2 1/2" in length. From the top of my curtain to the top of the eye in the curtain (where the bottom of the ring hangs) measures 1/2". If I put the tape measure on top of the rod, and measure the curtain (rings and all measures 72 1/2"). My shower curtain length is 70 3/4". When I look at the rings, they do look a little longer than usual, which should make your curtain hang longer. They are only about 2 mos. old, but the rings are really nice still. Maybe you can measure your current ring length and compare. Good luck

Ruffles, Please contact Amazon for a replacement set which they would be happy to send out immediately. Our Rings are made with Solid Brass Roller Balls and a High Grade Stainless so they do not break. There may be have been an issue in manufacturing of that piece during assembly and we are thinking maybe it was clamped incorrectly or too deep - which is an extremely rare occurrence. Are they difficult to put the curtain on and hang?

It was very easy I used to have the plastic rings that was a pain to use and my curtains ripped every month, since I replaced them with these the curtains have not ripped
