Silverline Radiator Pressure Test Kit 18pce (647951)

All equipment comes in a sturdy plastic box. all parts are coloured and the instruction manual tells you what coloured part fits which cars radiator. In my case the manual told me i should use the yellow cap radiator connection but instead the grey part fitted instead of the yellow. Not really an issue for me (as manuals are normally a guide...not a must do)Once i connected the hose and pump to the connector and pumped it to 5 bar pressure, there was no leaking or air hissing around the radiator cap connection or the pump...so everything was air tight.You can leave the pump for a while before you might need to top up with airAll in all a good purchase. Still haven't found my radiator leak which i do have...just need to spend more time and maybe pump air to a higher pressure.

Was unsure wether to buy this as not keen on silver line tools but was happy with quality and price is good, did the job perfect , used on vw t4 and fit was perfect , nice set , nice quality but if youve got a few more quid to spend have a look at redline rad pressure tester, looks like it would do all cars and looks like quality bit of kit👍

Great kit for checking the coolant system on a car. The pressure gauge is very clear and the kit is very easy to use. I would definitely recommend this product.

Excellent product, very useful to have in my van. All components feel of excellent quality and doesn’t feel cheap like others I’ve used. A definite must have for anybody working within the automotive sector.

you can test pretty much ANY cooling system with this kit! nice that they put instructions in it, even a list of which caps are for which brands, will save me time. oh and the thermometer when put in boiling water shows EXACTLY 100 Degrees, so I can check the meat on the BBQ with it!
