The most comfortable rollers for a dry vintage set that I have ever used.🥳
***Updated ***to add the vintage curl pattern I use to get the hair in the last picture or,since Amazon puts the pictures in whatever order they want, the pic with red lips. It’s a little hard to read but if you can’t manage it, look at the pictures. Instead of pin curling, use the same set , only with these rollers and take bigger sections so your hair doesn’t look like a poodle when you brush out. Long metal clips are needed after you brush out, to set the waves! I’ve tried pretty much every setting pattern to achieve this look, but the directions I provided here are GOLD! Comes out perfect every time. 🥰***Previous review ***Ok so these are just awesome.I have been buying pink foam hair curlers from the Dollar Tree for YEARS because they give the best overnight no heat set for my hair type and they speak to my penny pinching soul. But they do degrade over time. That time is now and since I’m not currently leaving the house at the moment, I needed another set of cheap foam rollers that would come to me.I saw these while I was scrolling and I was both intrigued and skeptical.Obviously they are not as cheap as my Dollar Tree beauties but they were the cheapest on Amazon that still looked decent. But back to my skepticism.I have long thick hair and these rollers looked soooo tiny!I thought there was NO WAY these itty bitty little things were going to capture all my hair, actually stay in there AND make a decent curl but I was totally wrong.I am able to set my hair for vintage styles even more quickly and it’s easier to get these curlers to stay put than my Dollar Tree ones or really any other curler set I have had, also there is no hair fall!Plus I got the set of 30 and I still had 10 left after doing my whole head!I used 40 of my Dollar Tree old faithfuls before finding these.😮Omg and they are comfy.I live by the “beauty is pain” mantra but like, I don’t go courting it.If I can look fabulous without the pain? I am in like Flynn kids.Sleeping with these was like sleeping on little mini pillows!I can’t say enough good things about these and I would definitely give them a try.Ps: if you want good vintage curls, have your hair slightly damp***I use a curl cream called Curl la-la*** and you gotta take the curler all the way up to the scalp*** see picture ***before you tie it off. If you leave them hanging like a... makeshift curler bob? I’ve found my curls are much looser, may not last all day, and I don’t get as defined a curl as I need in order to achieve the vintage look I’m going for. 🤷🏽♀️I cover the curlers with either a head scarf or silk bonnet to make sure the curls stay smooth.😘I don’t use heat in my hair so the crown is always gonna look wavier than the rest.If I wanted to get rid of that I’d have to put in the rollers suuuuper tight and put on a steam cap for 10 mins.In the picture my curls are super brushed out because I preferred a looser vintage curl to go with my new stay home all the time in my jammies/workout gear look, but if you use a rat tail comb to define your waves***there are tons of tutorials on YouTube for how to do this!!***, you’ll get a less casual more polished vintage look.

Vintage hair? It can be done
I didn’t see any posts about trying vintage hairstyles with these so here I am with this review. First and foremost, practice makes perfect with these things and I definitely struggled on the first several rolls. I’m sure I’ll get better with every set that I do. Secondly, make sure that you are tucking your ends under and into the roll you're making so you can avoid those little not so uniform pieces at the end which make it harder for the brush out part. I slept on these overnight with a bonnet and it wasn’t extremely uncomfortable (especially when taking into consideration how much longer it would have been had I curled my hair with a hot iron instead of this). For some reason I can’t add pictures to show.

DOES IT'S JOB
Great for kids. They can do it themselves. They are soft and comfortable and work. They last awhile too.I usually buy a set for the girls once or twice a year. I like these the best, they are a good size for their thickhair. The pink ones. I have tried a bunch of different brands and sizes. The rubbery rods, wear out quickly and the ends on them can get caught up in the hair. These are completely covered with silky material that never pulls the hair. The are simple to use, and give full happy curls every time.

Only received 19 not 20 rollers !
I have ordered similar rollers in the past and liked them, I have very long curly hair and Like this type to give my hair a nice wave instead of my natural curly hair. These seem to be OK and look to be what I ordered , the problem is I received the today and there are 19 rollers not 20 as stated , I'm missing a roller. The choice I have is to return for a refund which I don't want , I would just like the correct amount of rollers that I paid for I need it cover all my hair. How do I get what I paid for ? I don't want a refund or to return what I have, any ideas anyone. These rollers look like they are make better than my older ones that wore out over the years. Help !!

Best stay in curlers I have tried
I used these over night.Comfort during night: 4/10 I suggest using a fluffy pillow if sleeping in these to minimize feeling them pushing against your head.Comfort during day: 10/10 you don’t even feel them at all.The shape of these stay pretty strong throughout the day if you have hair as long as I have. I don’t think these are made for longer hair than that.I used double rollers for larger curls as suggested on the instructions. When you take them out they are still pretty curly but if you brush them and style them then they take a better more wavy shape. All in all I really like them as an alternative to the heating wand. I don’t like using it and it damages my hair a lot. I do recommend!

Love these little guys!
I was looking for a no heat curl option and thought I'd give these a try. Glad I did! They're lightweight, sturdy, silky, they dry quickly, and the quality is great. You also get LOADS of them. Great buy. A+

Poodle or Shirley Temple(but not cute)
I bought these in high hopes to find a heartless solution to curls. I gave these MULTIPLE different try’s. (Not smart on my end to do product testing on work nights) The first time I tried this I twisted my hair and then wrapped them into the curlers. This was the first of multiple horrible ideas to get this product to work. The first time I ended up looking like a poodle, as soon as I took the curlers out and tried separating the curlers it went full poodle. I couldn’t go to work and had to take a personal emergency (I think this counted honestly though). The second time I did not twist the hair and just took the sections and rolled them and the curlers. (This is prove to not be any better) after taking the curlers out the next morning some of the curls were still wet (I stayed in them over night) this was probably the best of the 3 attempts. The final attempt I tried making the sections slightly smaller in hopes that everything would be dry by morning. By morning everything was dry but after getting all the curlers out I realized to my horror I looked like the dollar store Sherley Temple! Definitely would not recommend unless poodle and Shirley temple is what you’re going for.

These rollers are fantastic.
They were easy to use and the curls are great. My tip would be to get your hair into as many small sections as possible in the photo above I had gotten my hair into 20 of the rollers and that is my result. Definitely comfortable enough to sleep in but entirely unnecessary I put the rollers in when my hair was 3/4 dry and I left in for a few hours. Although I didn't sleep in them this time I did go out and lounge on the couch and watch television and I can say with confidence that these rollers are perfectly comfortable and would be easy to sleep in.

Great value, worked great
Got these as it was the most economical option for these style of curlers.Very happy, they are quite easy to use, and relatively easy to sleep on as far as curlers go.Got them primarily to curl someone else's hair, which is shorter and very straight and fine. Was amazed how well these curled their hair and how long the curls stayed in, very well defined, even in straight and fine hair. With more practice putting them in, I imagine they would be great to get more specific looks and styles.Would recommend.
