Cost Effective Gutter Protection
We had new gutters installed along with new roofs eight years ago. Shortly afterward I found GutterStuff (Gutter Guard) at Home Depot and since it was affordable bought enough to do all the gutters on our home and outbuildings. This product is very easy to install, the only tool you will need is a sharp knife for cutting and trimming. Works great! the wedge shaped black foam material fills the gutter and prevents leaves, sticks, etc from getting caught while keeping birds from nesting in the gutters. I just finished an inspection / cleaning of the foam, only the second time in 8 years, and it is still in good shape. Very little deterioration from UV. My only problem is that moss has started to grow in several places. We live near the coast and mosses can be a headache. I just bought a box from Amazon to have replacement material on hand for areas where I need to replace small pieces damaged by moss. Highly recommended!

No More Clogged Gutters!
Installed these in a weekend, and my gutters have been debris-free ever since! They fit perfectly, let water flow through, and keep out leaves and gunk. No more climbing up the ladder every season to clean out a mess. If you want a low-maintenance solution for your gutters, this is it! 🍂💦

Easy to install, lasts several years (4-5) before needing to be replaced.
First two boxes appeared to be better quality (thicker) than the subsequent two boxes. Second set were adequate for the job. We will see how long they last.Easy to remove old ones (same stuff) and the new ones were easy to cut to desired lengths and install. Do a great job keeping leaves and maple seed pods (noses) out of the gutters.

Installation is fiddly but end result is really good.
This is a good product but it requires careful handling. Aluminium mesh has no tensile recoil, so if you drop the coil while working with it, it will deform and not spring back. You can work it back, but it takes time.Therefor, really plan how you are going to manage the part of the roll you are not working on.Once installed, it does a great job and should last for years. There's a learning curve. My second 20' is much better than my first 10' - with both sections feeding to a drop drain 1/3 along. I will definitely buy more for my remaining gutters. I have foam in some, but despite what they say, it does not stand up to the UV we get in Louisiana. This is better. I'll add some photographs tomorrow.

A costly, but somewhat effective, gutter guard
Everyone wants gutters clean. I have long experience with gutter stuff: our house got a full set in all the drains about seven years ago. It is a love-hate relationship. For context, we live under a combo of massive redwoods which perma shed and some evergreens and deciduous trees. For the first few years I was in love with the product: the drains drained and the gutters did not clog. But then over time the gutter stuff began to warp and there was stuff growing in it. It is not maintenance free because smaller debris will still sit on top unless flushed off by rain or wind, but it does greatly reduce material going down into the gutter. The hard part is the price, since it is not cheap. It seems to be similar to aquarium filter foam, and that's not cheap either, but it definitely smarts to spend 65 on a compressed roll of deformed foam and that only covers a small stretch of a house. In the end, I'm still not sure whether it was worth it. That said, I did buy more because I still havent found a better alternative.

over promised, under performed
The good: The foam is soft and easily malleable conforming to the shape of the gutter. The reason I selected this product over a metal type guard is the ease of installation, which it provided. The bad: A bit overpriced for being simply foam. One would think this product should be significantly cheaper and still provide a considerable profit margin. The Ugly: Ultimately, the bottom line is the performance. After installing, I turned the hose to spray and aimed it at the roof. In seconds, the gutters began to overflow. Yes, some water passed through and made it's way to the downspout, but most water pooled on top of the foam until it overflowed, just as it would if the gutter was clogged with debris.Yes, I followed the instructions. Yes, I thoroughly cleaned out the gutters before installation. I suspect it would suffice in a gentle shower or mist. However, in Nevada, we rarely get those. It's either rain, heavy rain, or torrential downpour. I'll give it the chance to perform in actual rain, and update this review accordingly, but I suspect it will be no different then the comparably small amount of water that dispensed from my hose; only a fraction of what will be coming down this fall.I see myself replacing it with metal guards in the not-too-distant future.

Cheaper than leaf filter
I love these and they definitely do the job. I have Grandfather Oaks around my home and these STOP the gutters from filling up and no more having to clean them out. Water flows through freely and in my opinion they are great!!!Just use a leaf blower to blow the debris off when dry.
