Quick install with standard scaffold pins and the tension knobs to eliminate wobble are a plus. If you're using these on the job, one of those wide, low profile totes like those offered by Husky and Milwaukee's packout line would be great for storing these because they aren't stackable and will easily shift in transit. Quality is great and at 6ft or higher, the safety these provide, even on a flat surface, isn't debatable. These also match the pin holes on similar Werner scaffolds.

When putting the outriggers on the black know that tightens them up,I preferred the knobs on the inside edge of the scaffolding. That worked great on 2 but on the other 2 the knob was on the outside where it can be struck while moving the scaffolding. How about on a set of 4 outriggers put 2 on the left side and 2 on the right. After installing these I was happily amazed at how much more stable our scaffolding became. Highly recommend these.

I’m old school and still use the older but more reliable and well built Perry and Sonny brand scaffolds. I am doing a ceiling job where I needed some outriggers quickly. Purchasing the Perry brand is harder now and way more expensive. Especially with wheels. So, I bought these MetalTech outriggers with plans to modify them to fit my Sonny scaffold. Once I got them, I precisely measured the placement for drilling new holes. I’m used a Milwaukee 5/16, measured, marked and slowly drilled the holes exactly the same on all four. I purchased 8 new 5/16 wire lock pins and only used the included larger pins for the wheels. The 5/16 pins match the Sonny and Perry pin hole size. Got it on the job and set up and as an added bonus… the tried something I’ve wanted to do for yrs and turned these upside down and mounted them to the side of my scissor lift to use as a ledge to hold my main runners for the acoustic ceiling install. Very happy with this purchase!!!!

These outriggers are easy to install. A must have for stacking 2 scaffolds. They made the double stacked scaffolding pretty stable. They fit the scaffolding that I bought at Tractor Supply. They are a different color of yellow but that's okay with me.

I was happy to pick these up here at a lower price than other locations. The wider 'foot' gives a more solid base when using a double stack of scaffolding - especially when you're climbing up 12 feet on the outside of the scaffolding!
