Works great and is quiet
Our cat wouldn't drink from her water bowl and was constantly going to the kitchen and bathroom sinks to drink out of the faucets (gross). I was leery of buying a cat water fountain because the ones I've seen IRL make a constant water trickle noise. But with this one, I was pleasantly surprised! This fountain is SUPER quiet--I can't hear it at all unless I put my head right next to it. It only begins to make a very soft trickling noise when the water level gets low, which is actually a nice reminder. NOTE: One day my cat knocked the top off, and when I reassembled it it became incredibly noisy! After reading other comments here, I discovered the fix: 1) Make sure the flower part on top is screwed in solidly 2) Make sure the pump is suctioned to the bottom. Basically, make sure everything is firmly seated. Cleaning is a bit finicky in terms of disassembling the small parts on the pump, but it's easier once you get the hang of it. I haven't found any slime/growth on it at all. We have 1 cat and clean it monthly and it's never visibly dirty when we take it apart. Also easy to fill - just pour water in. The ability to mix up the water flow by adjusting the heads is a nice plus. The lights on the fountain could be a pro (nightlight!) or con (might keep you awake if it's in a bedroom) depending on your tolerance. The style of this cat fountain is a little "whimsical" for my taste, but it's OK because our cat loves it. She's drinking a lot more water (I can tell by her litter box) and staying out of the sink (big win). My only concern is I imagine some of the plastic parts on the pump may break over time as you repeatedly take it apart to clean it. That said, they sell replacement pumps for a small amount, and even re-buying the whole fountain wouldn't be a big expense. Overall, along with a cat fishing pole, this is one of the single best cat-related products I've bought. Highly recommend!

Purrfect lol - For cats who show an interest towards running water.
We no longer are forced to cup our hands any time the cat sees us come near a sink. It turns out he does not want to drink for close to 4 minutes at a time. But rather under 30 seconds many times a day. He loves the Wonder Creature Water Fountain and was drinking from it in seconds. However, I would not buy the Wonder Creature Water Fountain for a creature that does not show a thirst interest in running water. Our other two cats thought it was neat when placed in front of the Wonder Creature Water Fountain, but have yet to look at the Wonder Creature Water Fountain on their own. Our two dogs could not care less about the Wonder Creature Water Fountain, but then none of these creatures ever showed an interest in running water, other than fear. Well worth it. Easy to set up. Easy to keep clean. The pump is silent. The trickling of water gets louder as the Wonder Creature Water Fountain empties and is quieter when full. I'm 100% pleased with the Wonder Creature Water Fountain. I will not be replacing the top ring filter though, as that is for taste. I do not think the cat cares too much about that. It's already clean water from the tap, so in my mind it is pointless. It is important to rinse the sponge filter for the lasting life of the Wonder Creature Water Fountain pump.

Animals LOVE This!
We have a cat who's at least 13 years old and has developed kidney disease. Our vet recommended a water fountain to aid in her water consumption. When an animal develops problems with their kidneys it's imperative they drink as much water as possible. Our cat took a few days to become comfortable with this fountain because she never saw anything like it, but we left her get used to the sound of the water and she slowly began to investigate it more over the days. Now she LOVES it! She likes to walk right up to it and she doesn't even care if her head gets wet now. It's funny, but I think she secretly likes to put her head under the water sometimes. More importantly, she's drinking more water and that helps her kidneys and of course extends her time with us. She's on medication also for Kidney Disease and along with this fountain she's back to her old playful self again. I'd recommend a drinking fountain to anyone who has animals, period. You can fill the tank and it will last a week. This is great if you plan to be away for a weekend or something. It also lights up and at night it helps the animal see in the dark. The blue LED subtle glow looks nice in the evening and the faint sound of the water trickle is calming as well. We don't even hear the pump because it's super quiet, only the very faint trickle of the water falling. What a cool concept. Wish I would have knows about these 10 years ago. This is a MUST for anyone who owns pets. It can be cats, dogs, birds, anything that can reach the top of the fountain, which is about 8 inches from the ground. So be aware of that height. If you have a very short animal it may not reach it. Our cat is very small, maybe 6 pounds and she can reach it fine. It's actually good so she doesn't have to bend over and it's easier for her to drink. Hope this helps! Get this product! It hasn't failed once on us. Runs 24 hours a day.

UPDATE: So...it's definitely quiet. But that's because my motor doesn't work
UPDATE: So I decided to write this update and EVERY one who owns this should read this. I love this thing (after I got one that worked), but it's important to know that this isn't for lazy pet owners who think they can just fill this up and let it be. This NEEDS to be cleaned and the MOTOR needs to be cleaned. It's super important that if you have this and you never popped the caps off the front and back of the motor to clean it, you do it right NOW. The front of the motor (the bit with the vent) isn't as bad as the back, but when you pop the front cap off you need to clean inside (also, once you pop the front cap off, the next little circular bit pops off as well). It's quick and easy and you'll see the gunk that builds up. The back part (where the wire connects) is where you really need to clean. Since there's no flow back there from the motor, the water sits stagnant in there and there is quite a build up. Just pop the back cap off and clean it out. I always cleaned my entire fountain weekly. And I always used small pipe cleaners to clean inside the motor area and the spout on the motor, but when I popped those caps...oh boy... I mean I would even soak my motor in super hot water and such to make sure it was clean. Anyway, the point is, this thing is great and my cats absolutely LOVE it. I also don't give my cats tap water (maybe I'm crazy, but if I don't drink it, I'm not giving it to them 😂). Just keep it clean, replace the filters frequently and that's that. It super quiet and if the light bothers you, it's easily removed if that's what you want to do. Was excited to try this. Set it up. Light works, but the motor doesn't. Shame. I'll update after I get a replacement, but not off to a great start. Gave it two stars because it does look great and my cat is really interested in it already, but unfortunately she can't drink from it yet

Easy to clean, affordable, cats love it
I have 6 cats and have purchased 4 of these fountains within the last year. For the price, they are unbeatable. It's super easy to clean, and really like the plastic basin for cleaning, but glad there is a stainless steel drink tray. Each Sunday I take the motor apart and clean it. If I do a super deep clean, it's maybe 10 minutes per fountain. Operation is nearly silent. If it starts making a trickling water sound, it's probably that there is cat hair or gunk on the black / blue pre filter. I pop that out, clean it, pop it back in, and good to go! I swap out the pumps with new ones at the 6 month mark. They haven't died by that point, but I wonder how good I can clean the motor each week. $10 to replace it, and gives me peace of mind. No crazy nooks or crannies in this fountain like some others I've had in the past. Each part comes apart easily for cleaning. Definitely give this a try, it's one of the best things I've done for our cats! ETA: I've found that the small hummingbird feeder cleaners and a long pointy bamboo skewer work wonderfully to clean any hard to reach spots. Still kicking our original 4 fountains and still swap out motors after 6 months. 100% recommended these fountains!

Doesn't make a sound, and has a pleasant internal light, cats like it
I've had cats for 35 years, but never bought a fountain until now. I read a LOT of reviews on a LOT of different ones, and like a lot of people I know, I tend to go straight to bad reviews. It seemed like all the available fountains had complaints of very premature pump motor death. I came to the conclusion that at some point, I just had to take and plunge and try one. Eventually, I picked this one because the capacity seemed about right (not small enough to have to fill constantly, but also not big enough for the water to get too contaminated), and it had a water level sight window and internal light. I've only had mine for a week at this point, but so far so good. I had concerns about my two cats potentially splashing the water out on the (tile) floor, but so far that hasn't been an issue. The main reason I bought a fountain was hoping to increase my cat's water intake. I'd read that some cats won't go near a fountain, but my cats both took to it immediately. They do seem to be drinking more frequently and their litter box would seem to confirm this. While I don't care for having to clean their litter boxes more often, I'm more than happy to do it if they are consuming more water, simply for the health benefit. This unit is completely silent, and when I say silent, I mean it literally has NO sound at all. No pump noise, no water noise, no nothing. If I couldn't clearly see the water flowing, I'd think it wasn't working at all. The blue internal light and water level viewing window are both very desirable features. I used to keep a lamp with a 15 watt light bulb on at all times in their bathroom, but the light in this unit provides ample light. So far I'm pleased with the unit. It was easy to assemble, and seems easy enough to clean. I would be a little apprehensive about putting a fountain like this on anything but concrete or tile, as the cats do like to wet their paws with the water a sit at it and bathe themselves. However, the water that makes it to my tile bathroom floor is minimal. I'm just glad they haven't (yet) taken to splashing water out of it for fun. As I mentioned, my biggest worry with any of the fountains like this one is the pump motor dying quickly. I'll update this review as time goes on. So far I'm very satisfied, and just as importantly, my cats are satisfied, and we all recommend this unit. Update 10-25-19 Fountain is still working well. It seems at this point my fears of premature pump failure were unfounded. I've cleaned the motor as instructed about every 3rd to 4th fill up, which is very simple and quick to do. The cats still seem to drink considerably more water from it than they ever did from their bowls. So far it's been a great product that is easy to maintain and thus far has been reliable.

Kitten loves it so I love it!
I have had this fountain for a little under 2 months and honestly I love it and my kitten loves it. I immediately switched from a water bowl to the fountain and he honestly did not bat a single eye, he drank from it right away. The way its designed makes it easy for kitties to drink water, and the small window where you can see how much water is left inside of the fountain is not only good to see if it needs a refill but also useful to see how much water your cat is drinking. Washing and cleaning the inside is very easy too, since it came with instructions on how to disassemble and assemble the water pump. The sound of the water flowing is actually sort of calming too. I keep the fountain in my bedroom so honestly I just fall asleep to the sound, its not super loud but obviously flowing water will have some small noise and I just like to think of it as white noise to be honest. Overall I love the fountain and I can tell my cat likes it too! (He likes to take his toy mice over to the fountain for a drink too which I think is funny) I would buy it again 100%, and I recommend it to anyone the minute I find out they're thinking about getting a cat!

Quiet
This was a replacement unit for one I bought a year or so ago. Our housesitter accidentally fried that one - totally not a problem with the unit. It took some time for our cat to start using it regularly. Like, months. He's very old (20!) and we thought it might make it easier for him to get a drink. I guess he finally agreed. The fountain does its job quite well, with a couple of caveats. #1. Your cat may or may not like it. Our other 2 cats still only use it very occasionally. #2. It is very quiet! You can hardly tell that it's on. We keep it in our bedroom, so this is kind of important for us. #3. It is only very quiet when it is full. But the lower the water level gets, the louder it becomes. And because it's losing water not only because the cat is drinking from it but also because of the massively increased evaporation caused by streaming water through the air, it need to be refilled more than you would think. In order to keep the sound down it needs to be topped off every second or third day. Not optimal. Still, I recommend it if you keep those factors in mind. I replaced it because now that my ancient cat has started using it we didn't want to shake up his world by forcing him back to the bowl. It's a very good piece of equipment.

Produto diferente do anunciado
