Seki EDGE112 Stainless Steel Nail Clipper

This clipper is very sturdy. It has an easy action, very sharp blade, works on finger and toe nails. I file my nails after cutting to get a gentler edge to the nail. I have some tough nails and this clipper made an easy job of clipping them.

Very precise, sharp, and easy to use. No need to apply much force. Great product. However, not sure if it is meant to be used for both pedicure and manicure due to it's size. Just a thought. Did not get in touch with the manufacturer yet.

A few months ago I bought the Seki SS-106 model nail clippers and loved them. Recently, I upgraded to the SS-112 model after reading reviews and was intrigued by the reviews and larger size. Perfect! The size of the SS-112 model is bigger in the hand than the SS-106 with both models providing exceptionally clean, smooth cuts to the nails.The larger SS-112 is probably better for thicker nails as well as for those with larger hands/fingers. Being an older guy, these SS-112’s are easy to hold, easy to control while providing no resistance to toe and fingernails. Some reviewers mention this model might be too big for some people which, could be accurate but, for me, this clippers provided easy control and precision.The SS-106 model is a bit smaller and is great for fingernails and maybe for a bit more detail clips but, either one works great and I have no regrets purchasing both. Each product has a quality weight/feel, provides an exceptional nail clip while also giving the assumption that these high end nail clippers will likely last for years.The old adage “you get what you pay for” is fully exposed once I upgraded my nail clipping game with the Seki Edge SS-106 & SS-112. Worth the higher cost than those cheap pharmacy countertop clippers. I’ll never go back to low quality nail clippers.

Quality construction; good and sharp — cuts through my finger nails easily and fairly easily on toe nails (but not a ton of effort, really).

These were praised by NY Times Wirecutter as the very best nail clippers they’d found. About $25 on Amazon. That’s pretty expensive! But I took a leap of faith and bought a pair. They arrived in a few days. Wow! I’ve bought several pairs of clippers over the past five years because whatever I got didn’t seem to work. The jaws didn’t meet exactly. They left ridges on my nails I had to file off. Just louse products.But these are amazing. I don’t have to squeeze hard, even on my big toe nails. They cut precisely, perfectly, smoothly, easily. They are pretty heavy—twice as heavy as what I’m used to—but it’s worth it. I decided to also buy these for my three grown kids, my sisters, my nieces. I don’t even usually buy them Christmas presents, but this year they are getting them.

This clipper seems to be very well made and high quality. I wasn't able to master it's use though. I usually use scissors to cut my toe nails really short, but since my foot surgery, I can't manipulate my toes so I thought this would work. The curvature was hard to adapt to my toe nail despite approaching it from different angles and trying to take little bits of the nail... it just wouldn't catch the nail. The blades are sharp and the little bit it managed to get of my nail cut easily so I'm giving it to my spouse. It's way better than the drug store clipper he uses.

Very sturdy and cuts like butter. Its just big so maybe go for the smaller option if your hands are small.

Read about this one, but I held off for a long time. My fingers don't slip off the grips, and it's easy to control, and sharp. Will buy another one for my toiletry case for travel. Absolutely worth it.
