When my sister died, we bought six of these for the rest of the sisters and our mother. I watched a video on how to fill urns, which really helped. First you put some of the cremains in a plastic sandwich bag and shake them so the smaller bits go down to the bottom in one of the corners. Then you can snip the end and put that into the funnel. Poke the ashes inside with the needle. We were able to get more than I thought inside. Then with a cotton swab that you've taken most of the cotton off, clean out screw part where the top goes in. Don't fill up the part the screw goes into! Try screwing the top in, making sure it is as flush as it was before you filled it. Then take out the top and have someone hold the heart upright while you put a tiny bit of epoxy glue on the threads of the top. Then screw it in tight and let dry! Don't use super glue because that dries too fast, and if you accidentally tip something over and get ashes stuck, or you don't screw it in fast enough, you won't be able to get it in at all. You can still clean it all off with solvent and try again, of course, but it's better to use epoxy. Oh, and we used glue to prevent it from ever coming open. We filled six hearts and everything was okay. We did break one of the chain when we tightened one that was filled a bit too full (we learned the hard way), but the seller says he will help us get a new chain (we wanted them all to match). After you are finished, keep a tablespoon or more of ashes in doubled sandwich bags and store it away somewhere in case your necklace is ever lost. Don't put it in checked luggage because if the airline loses your baggage, you'll be sad.Update: Seller made good on the promise and we now have the matching chain. Thank you! We've been wearing these for weeks now when we need to feel close to our sister, and it helps. They look perfect.

My husband, 4 kids and I all ordered necklaces after the sudden passing of my mother in law and everyone is so happy with what we got. They are absolutely beautiful and very affordable. We wanted to get them engraved, but because of the projected delivery time we opted not to so the funeral home filled them for us. Delivery was quick and they were packaged carefully so they wouldn’t get scratched in transit. The fact that they are stainless is a huge bonus because 3 of the 6 of us have extremely sensitive nickel allergies. Also, I love that the chain is long enough that my son doesn’t have to undo the clasp to take it off for showers and activities, and it came with a sturdy box to store when he does have to take it off.

I bought this for my mom as my dad just past away last weekend so she can carry a piece of him always. It is everything she had wanted it comes with all 12 birthstones that you put on, the chain was a nice thick chain about 12-18 inch long it comes with everything you would need to put ashes in. the wording was easily able to read (my pics still have protective plastic on it) it has a nice weight to it was well. Worth the $ in every way
