My husband eats a lot of sausage and cheese, among other things. His cholesterol was high as was his blood pressure. He was put on statins but his legs felt like was wearing weights all the time, He had a difficult time walking, and discontinued them. We tried Red Yeast Rice but that didn't agree with him either. Works well for me. Gives me clarity - different from Coffee
Sometimes I take an herbal supplement and I cannot tell if it works. Cacao is one of those supplements that works on the very first day. It is a "stimulant" different than caffeine. It doesn't make me jittery. Now, I'm "wired" differently. Thinks like Vitamin C foods or capsules keeps me awake and alert, so I'm not sure Cacao works for everybody, but it works well for me.
