Papyrus Christmas Cards Boxed with Envelopes, A Very Merry Christmas, Gemmed Ornament (8-Count)

The media could not be loaded.  I am very pleased with this set of holiday cards. These cards remind me of the ones I would be impressed with as a child, when my mother hung them up during the holidays. The type my grandmother would "spend a little extra on for quality and elegance". Sending out holiday cards used to be an important tradition when people sat down and spend a little time to hand write messages to loved ones of health, wealth, and happiness. This boxed set captures that feeling of a special holiday memory in the mailbox.The paper is thick and has a nice texture to it, while still smooth to the touch. The embossed image and glitter provide a department store elegance without the high dollar price tag. The envelopes are lined in antique metallic gold on the inside and brick red (deep antique red) on the outside. The envelopes are heavily weighted paper as well. The metallic gold envelope seals are embossed with a hummingbird. I can't wait to slip our family holiday photo into this card. This boxed set takes me back to my childhood when life seemed to relish magical holiday moments with family and friends.

These are beautiful, quality cards consistent with my experience with this brand. The cards are accented in metallic finishes and glitter which creates a the magical feeling.My only complaint is that the envelopes are dark red, so they tend to be hard to read when addressed. I can't help but be concerned that the postal service scanners may have difficulty encoding them.

I bought these in October 2020 to prepare for mailing Christmas cards internationally--which takes a lot longer to send--and they are so very, very cute. The cards *do* have glitter on them, but I didn't have issues with it getting everywhere. Some does come off, but you won't get caught in a glitter storm. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 simply because a lot of my cards were slightly bent on arrival. No true damage to them. Just misshapen enough for me to need a heavy book to flatten them back out over a couple days.The envelopes say "extra postage required," which is the only reason I held off on a review. I experimented sending one to my sister using one US stamp and it had no problems getting to her. So unless you're stuffing the cards with other things, the extra postage isn't actually necessary.

I have never purchased Christmas cards this beautiful before. The front image has a shimmer and is very dimensional. The card stock is sturdy and the envelopes are as well. The envelopes have a gold lining inside and each card comes with a gold foil hummingbird seal. Very classy! Papyrus is the best!

Having used William Arthur cards for many years, I can say that these cards by papyrus are as good or better than those by William Arthur or Crane. Excellent purchase I will definitely make again

These cards are of the Papyrus standards. Beautiful, sturdy with a nice feel in your hand as you hold them to read them. They are normal card stock thick and will mail nicely with our family photo this year.

I have always loved the Papyrus cards for years and was quite happy to find several different designs for a great price! ( To clarify it’s one design per box and this was the design I chose).

This make of card is always of a high quality and I purchase them each year as have always been satisfied with designs.
