excellent taste without any bitterness
to be clear, neither this, nor ANY of the wasabi you can buy in the UK - unless you go crazy ordering live rhyzomes online - is real wasabi. They are instead a mixture of a very low percentage wasabi, e.g. 3%, and horseradish. Even the one at the sushi bar is like this, if you are outside of Japan.Given this, this Yutaka is waaaay better than any other brand. Most tend to have a very feeble, but nonetheless noticeable bitterness, while this does not at all. I can't think of any other commercial brand that is better.
