it will cost you another 20 bucks to get the base I feel they should have it all as one for that price but works great on my kayak

Dont trust what you see in the pic!
Wish I had read the reviews first. Like others, I will say this doesn't mount like the photo shows. You must buy another piece (1.5" ball) to get this to mount. Totally disappointed the picture is not a true representation of what I got. Plus, I bought the mounts shown in this picture, again, a waste of time and money because this isn't what was needed to get this to work.

very short, and also it came with a 1 ...
very short ,and also it came with a 1 inch ball not the 1.5 it needs to mount too your track ,so now I have to spend another 20 to get the ball and wait for it !
