The assembly is very difficult due to vague instructions that are greatly lacking detail and parts that need better label methods. When you assemble it, you have a 50% chance that you end up with the triangle cut board on the wrong side, which is what all these reviews are saying and what I ran into. Your issue then, is that the secondary table is on the wrong side of the long table. Reverse and rescrew both the long pieces into the end legs (part 3). You'll have to reverse the long sides around those end legs (part 3). It's really confusing to think about and explain, but the table's frame can be built two ways that both resemble the instructional photos. The instructions are just terible and the parts are really confusing, but it's doable if you keep going. The threading on the metal holes aren't that good, but the included tools cash be helpful. I am a pretty handy 20 year old and it took me more than 3+ hours to build by myself.

Fine. Finicky to assemble
I've built a fair amount of furniture like this before, but this one was a little troublesome. The seller sent me an email including several extra tips on assembly, but a day after I assembled it. The desk itself is fine and sturdy. Though the 2 top pieces didn't line up great, it may have with those extra tips.

The holes for the wood to be screwed into the frame weren’t even close to being aligned, was missing screws and overall a pain in the ass to put together, wouldn’t recommend

Quality of this desk is lacking
Though the desk has plenty of legroom and is sturdy, I find the quality of the desk to be poor. For the price I was expecting the metal frame and wood to be in better condition.
