Faramir, Son of Denethor

I think all of the words are already said. The figure is purely majestic. The only thing that bothered me was face mold. I love David Wenham and I wouldn't say that this mold looks like him. At most, side view does. But that's not a big deal on a large scale.

I was literally drooling over this for a long time before I finally got it as I think Faramir is one of the best characters from LOTR. Just reading the product description had me shaking with excitement over all the accessories it comes with.-The box itself is great as a display, however it will not stay open to show off the actual figure. The Velcro to keep the flaps closed are a bit fragile so I have to make sure I'm careful every time I open it as I fear it will rip off. So if you want to display the figure, you'll need it out of the box sadly.-The figure itself is glorious. The paintwork on the face and hair is phenomenal and the head mold is very close to the actor who played Faramir. I love when figure artists use differing colors on eyebrows, it shows thru really care and put a lot of time into the figure.-The hair mold is a little chunky to me, the paint job helps but I think they could have done better with the hair.-The clothing was really focused on here. Stitch work is amazing and I love how the cap has a hood that is big enough to fit the head and has some supportive wiring to keep it open around the face. There is also a hole in the back to put the quiver and arrows through so the cape does not cover them.-Weapons were well done also. The hand molds fit all weapons perfectly so you don't have to worry about forcing anything (there's interchangeable hands for the varying weapons).Overall, The details really make this worth every penny. I'm very happy I got it, even with the high cost! One of my best figures I have on display.

First off lets get it straight- this is a collecters item. It's not made to be played with, says so on the box. Anyway, to the reveiw.This figure, being a collecters item, is extremly detailed. The clothes look like they're straight from the film. The front of the hood has a thin wire inside it so you can position it with relative ease. The accsesries are:1. bow The bow looks, for lack of better terms, spiffy. It stands a little bit taller than the figure, and actually con fire the arrows somewhat.2. sword It is, as the rest of the figure, extremly detailed. I cannot stress that enough. It even has a, blood groove is it? Complete with scabberd.3. arrows No bow would be complete without arrows. They are nice looking. (I didn't want to say extremly detailed again =P)The quiver is, quite plainly, awsome.
