UPDATE 8/28/19 Very poor qualityGood design, seems to do the job, but Poor quality material and workmanship. I think this would be a good product if it had a stitched hem in the cover around the air valve.Dissapointing. I know it was relatively inexpensive... It looked good in the pics. I would pay more for better quality, which is what I’m searching for now.Dear manufacturing companies, please stop making stuff that falls apart, lets get back to a world where companies strive to make the best product they can. We consumers will pay the extra dollar for a quality product.

My Aussie has severe allergies and this keeps her from biting herself when we can't see her. She has used it for a long time and doesn't mind it at all. She is even able to go in and out of the doggie door with it on. Detaches really easily and is easy to wash. I have two that I interchange so I can wash and dry one while the other is available if I need it. Collar is easily interchangeable too.

My 14 year old dog has used an inflatable pillow for 2 years! A surgery he had didn't work fully, so he still tries to lick and bite the area (but is too old for another procedure). As you can see, he is comfy.... its like a pillow, its light and he does not mind it at all. I used another brand before, but the covering was more like a 'fleece' or a bit fuzzy.... his fur and all the dust stuck to it and wouldn't come out even in the wash without using a lint roller. This one however, being a smoother texture, while it doesn't look as comfortable/soft, is amazing. It stays clean, fits well (he has a medium.. a 12 pound shihtzu-poodle mix) and doesn't seem to think a 'softer' covering matters ! :) When attached to his collar it stays on well. Thanks for this great product.

This is a high-quality, durable, well made product that just didn't work for our dog. I ordered the large ring for my 65 lb doberman puppy when he was neutered. It was easy to inflate and put around his neck. It also seemed to be very comfortable for him as well as the humans that he was running into and laying on. However, it was nowhere near large enough to keep him from reaching and licking his body parts.

This worked for my 19 pound Boston terrier in medium. Is it the best quality? No. If you plan on using this one time you’ll be fine. If I owned a vet would I buy these for multiple uses? Probably not. Two issues; the first inflating is a real pain. The manufacture could have easily fixed this buy using one way valves. I purchased cheap pool toys that have this function. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t use them. Every time you remove your mouth all the air escapes that you just blew in. This foccese to yo plug the hole with you younger and close the valve. Second they are built so the cover can be washed and used again. The cut out in the fabric is already ripping. From just inflating it (this is shown in the uploaded photo)Updated to 1 out of 5. My LH Dachshund, Graham, had a mass removed from his bum yesterday. From past experience, I knew we would both be miserable with the traditional e collar so I ordered this one. As you can see, it is doing it's job admirably. He's still not very happy but this is certainly the lesser of the evils. I ordered both a LG and MED on Thurs, just to make sure to get the correct size and they arrived Sat prior to his surgery on Tues. The MED fits him perfectly and does not allow him to reach his bum (although he really hasn't tried to) while still allowing him to eat and drink so I would say mission accomplished. This is the day after surgery so I really can't attest to durability but it looks to be up to the job and I like the fact that it can be washed. I'm happy with it and he is as happy with it as he would be with anything that restricts his movements - he's not whining or crying or trying to rip it off so I guess he's happy with it. He's REALLY not happy with me!

It was the perfect size and allowed my dog to drink water and eat while blocking him from licking his balls. He wasn't very comfortable sleeping with it on, but he managed. Problem is only lasted a day and a half. My two dogs were play fighting with each other and the inflatable collar was easily pierced and now can't stay inflated. Waste of $19.

This collar seemed to be a lot more comfortable for my chihuahua than the cone. He was very limited wearing the cone and we had to hand feed him his food and water. I purchased the collar and it arrived the next day. I'm happy that he is able to eat and drink without our help and he is a lot happier. My only suggestion is that you make sure to put the nozzle ( the one you blow air into) facing down. My dog chewed his off, we didn't even think that he could do that!! Overall, I am very happy with this product.
