This is perfect for longer runs without adding a signal amplifier. For my project behind the crown brightness is exactly enough not to be hard on your eyes. If exposed it will be even brighter

I must say I did not expect how bright these lights would be. VERY VERY bright. I did dim them to the lowest setting and still VERY bright. I am very pleased with the product overall. Only bad thing is the remote. You need to be right on top of the unit and have to push buttons multiple times before it actually works. Would give a 5 star rating but the remote is horrible even at 5 ft away.

Had it for one year and the remote no longer works, the connections even though that we kept it in a waterproof box rotted away, While it indicates you can cut it, good luck finding a connector that will connect it back together and be waterproof. I bought several connectors, but in the end decided to just keep it together and twist it rather than cutting it and trying to wrap it with a water tight bond. BTW, don't expect to get any instructions! DON'T BUY THIS, IT'S A LOT OF MONEY FOR A REALLY CRAPPY PRODUCT.

Stopped working and the plug melted 9 months after we installed it. For the price i do not recommend this product.

The remote control doesn't work half the time. I changed to frsh batteries and still had same issues. The button colors are off. For example, if we click on green the red color comes on. Plus, it doesn't allow for anything other than basic 4 colors. We bought this product for the mtitude of colors and shades. We can't even get them with the remote. The remote is worthless. Not sure how to rectify the situation. VETY DISAPPOINTED.

So you cannot cut these run an extension in a dead spot and reconnect. Bought every kit on the market and cannot reconnect after cutting. If someone else did it please share. Ruined a perfect set. Led power box stop working after 2 months need a replacement

The media could not be loaded.  These lights are great!! I have had them for a couple weeks now. They can get very bright and the colors are so vivid! I plan to keep them up and use them all year round. Used some adhesive plastic clips that I found online so I didn't have to drill into the house. If the remote just had a little more range would be nice.
