Excellent niacin supplement.
This type of niacin CAN provide a niacin flush. That's WHY I use this type of niacin. The niacin flush might be concerning to a person that doesn't understand what's happening, and it might seem uncomfortable to somebody who isn't used to it.After having done quite a lot of research on the topic, I now understand that it's a good thing, I specifically ONLY use a type of niacin supplement that can provide a niacin flush feeling, and I'm happy about it when I do get the niacin flush feeling. I recommend NOT using a COX-2 inhibitor to prevent the flush feeling.

Flush is real
I see a lot of reviews on here complaining about the flush. I don’t think that is a valid reason to downvote them product as this form of niacin is WELL known to cause a flush. For me, that simply confirms this is what they say it is. Definitely start with half a pill and work your way up. No bad reactions for me or anything.

Not the same ingrediants
Ive been using this niacin for almost 7 years. My local Whole Foods was out and remained out. So I went here and ordered it. It feels different. The flush isn't as strong and I didn't help remove my headache like the prior ones did.

SEVERE ALLERGIC REACTION
I HAD A SEVERE ALLERGIC REACTION TO THIS PRODUCT. I WAS ABLE TO GET SOMEONE ON THE PHONE AT AMAZON WHO I RELAYED THIS INFO TO SO THAT OTHERS CAN BE MADE AWARE THAT THIS PRODUCT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CAUSE PEOPLE MEDICAL PROBLEMS. OVERALL I JUST WANT PEOPLE TO BE AWARE OF THE POSSIBLE HARM THIS PRODUCT CAN CAUSE. EVERYONE RESPONDS DIFFERENTLY TO VITAMINS SO MAYBE OTHERS OUT THERE DONT HAVE THIS ISSUE BUT BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY.

Definitely gives the flush
The first time I used this I wasn’t sure what would happen , I got the flush , I have olive colored skin, and I turned beet red , itched a bit, and this lasted a bit over an hour.

Blood pressure has dropped easily
I have fought with my Blood pressure for years. Allergic to ACE/ARB inhibitors. So I heard about mixing Melatonin with real niacin. I take 5 mg. melatonin and 15 min. later half the niacin pill. No flushing if I do this. And my BP dropped after a few weeks. Very pleased.

It works
I am taking Niacin to lower my cholesterol. It has come down 40 points! I'm very satisfied with this product.
