Ivory Dish Detergent, Classic Scent, 24 Oz Bottle, 10/Carton

I was very happy to find Ivory dish soap online. I have struggled to find it in Target or Walmart for purchase online. I had to order 10 bottles, but that was fine, because I will end up using them all eventually. Price was a little high, but not too bad, especially since it was delivered to my door! This is such a nice clear, mild dish soap. I don't like using anything else!

First off, what I received was not the product described in the ad -- "classic scent" Ivory Liquid dish soap -- or pictured on Amazon, which featured a photo of the opaque, pearly white bottle typical of the truly classic Ivory Liquid, which Procter and Gamble seems to be stealthily eliminating from the marketplace, replacing it with a clear liquid, which has a chemically, unpleasant, decidedly off and decidedly NOT "classic" scent in a clear plastic bottle. My family (beginning with my later grandmother) and I have been using Ivory Liquid for decades, so I know.Lately I have been able to find the truly classic, in scent and appearance, Ivory Liquid in a couple of stores, sometimes alongside bottles of this new clear crap they're manufacturing, which is what arrived on my doorstep. I would have never placed this order if I'd known that was what I was going to get.I ordered and paid 42 bucks for what was advertised as a case of ten (10) bottles of the "classic" soap, hoping to stock up on an authentic product which P&G seems to be phasing out, to my great disappointment. What I got was a case containing five (5) bottles of the same new junk that P&G is pawning off on us in the stores. And one of the bottles was 2/3 empty, its cap either not having been fastened properly before shipping or having popped open during shipping in the plastic bag the bottles were tied into inside the cardboard box. All the bottles, slick and dripping with the spent liquid, had to be rinsed and dried off after I unpacked them.I am going to request a refund from Amazon for the five bottles I did not receive, and will have to literally hold my nose and live with the five bottles of sucky product which I did: I certainly do not need or want the other five. I will be seeking out a more satisfying alternative to Ivory Liquid for my dishwashing needs, and will never again purchase the "new and improved" junk in stores or online.I gave this product one star because there was no option to give it a 0, and it definitely is a zero. Nasty stuff.

I prefer Ivory Liquid to hand wash a few dishes. Other brands leave my hands chapped and split. Ivory is much kinder and works just as well.

One of the bottles was open upon arrival. Packaging was do without care.

Scam! I ordered 10 packs and paid $50,88 but received only one in the box!

The product itself is great; I love Ivory dish soap. But, like another reviewer, I found a ruined soggy box on its side on my front porch, lying in a pool of soap. There is no protection for the bottles inside the box. Two of the bottle tops had opened, and I lost the equivalent of an entire bottle’s worth of soap. Not to mention the hassle of cleaning up the mess on my porch. Do not take the risk of ordering this online. Buy it at a store.

I love the scent of the ivory liquid it is a gentle aroma not like some smell..I couldn't wait to get the dishes cleaned up when not using the dishwasher the strong aroma was sickening...on other dish detergents.. I vory liquid to me is top drawer..
