Dreamland Comfort All Natural Mulberry Silk Comforter for All Seasons, White Queen size

I ordered the queen-sized comforter in white. The exterior of the comforter is white cotton with a decorative pattern and some stitching to hold the fill in place. My comforter did not have the butterfly stitching as seen in some photos. The corners of the comforter have the ties needed to properly secure it to a duvet cover.The comforter has a generous amount of silk fill and is heavier than I expected. I have it inside a duvet cover with a lightweight cotton blanket and my regular sheets under it. After using it for a few weeks, I can tell it's definitely going to be wonderful for the winter. I'll likely switch to something lighter for the late spring and summer. Overall, I'm very pleased. The comforter is warm, soft, and provides a nice heavy feel that is great for winter. but not for "all seasons" (at least where I live in the Northeast USA).

Excellent weight for fall/spring (room temp 56 - 60 F) in the California Bay Area - I find I do need to layer with a (super) light quilt in winter (room temp is 52-56 F). Size is at smaller end for typical queen size comforters, but adequate. The shell is dead quiet, which makes a real difference in the quality of sleep - I had a SmartSilk one which kept waking me up with its noisy shell. Haven't tried washing it yet. Had a mild smell out of the box, which dissipated with airing after a couple of weeks. Highly recommend silk over down, especially for someone allergic/asthmatic. Silk really does conform much better to the body - "cuddles you", and warms up much faster than down - yet regulates/breathes better so you don't overheat. Wouldn't have believed the hype unless I tried it!

The Queen sized comforter fits inside Amazon's own Pinzon branded Queen sized duvet cover perfectly. Each corner has a loop for ties and the top center also has an extra loop. There is also at least one small zipper if you need to get to the inside of the comforter. You will assuredly need a duvet cover. The shell is white, 100% cotton with a slight repeating design. You might be able to dry clean it (Dryel or professionally), maybe not.The weight and bulk of this comforter is effective. Heavy, but not cumbersome or too thick. Silk is far superior to polyester and even 100% down. No feather shafts or dander! Compared to worthless polyester or 'goose feather' comforters, or the shamelessly expensive down comforters, silk is a real value.Also, I saw the manufacturer reply to a few questions in this very forum, that was encouraging! Would buy again.

I ordered two queen size comforter for all seasons. The comforter is extremely light, comfortable, and warm enough for the winter season (I set the room temperature to 68F at night, cover only the silk comforter, and it is warm enough).As mentioned in Q&A section, the seller is still sending a same size comforter for free as the promotion directly to their customers if you ordered two All Season Comforters from Amazon. I will provide the update on this review as soon as I receive the promotion item.Update: It ended up that seller refunded me the second comforter and I can use the money to buy the third one. It is a very good experience for this purchase. And I still like the silk comforter.

I received this yesterday and fell in love with it immediately. This is my first silk comforter so I didn't know what to expect. I love the weight of it. I was torn between getting an All Season comforter vs. a winter weight for the cold Illinois winter. I decided on this one, and ordered new flannel sheets and flannel duvet to go with it for extra warmth. We sleep with the house at 62-64 degrees ad this kept me warm last night. The flannel duvet I ordered fit perfectly and it's the nicest flannel I've ever owned. This is the Duvet. (Pinzon Signature 190-Gram Velvet Flannel Duvet Cover Set, Full/Queen, Smokey Blue) I also ordered the matching sheets. I'm very pleased with this purchase and the quality of all items.

Huh. Well, this comforter is definitely soft and luxurious. It feels great and is really comfortable. But I did not find it to be particularly warm, unlike all the other reviews on here. Granted, most of the posted reviews seem to be from milder climates (California/Florida), but I live in New York and couldn't get past even October in this. I doubt it's colder than 55-60F in the apartment, but I still needed to grab a fleece blanket to layer underneath it for most nights in October. I was hoping it would be a good autumn/fall comforter before I brought out my thick down comforter for Dec/Jan/Feb when things start getting really cold, but this hasn't really met my needs, unfortunately.

I transitioned from a really warm down comforter to this in the winter time. I woke up cold for the first week and thought I had made a mistake in purchasing this, but now that I have adjusted. I LOVE it! not too hot, not too cold. I could add a little blanket in the wintertime, but i really like it so far.

We purchased this after a friend recommended a silk comforter. The cover is soft and pretty. The all silk comforter keeps us from over heating. It is not too heavy, but still keeps us warm, without overheating. As we live in a northern climate, I do not think that it will keep us warm enough in the winter. We may need to put another layer on the bed.
