I bought the 25lbs & I want to transfer it into a breathable plastic container for allergy reasons. Does any one know what gallon bin I should buy??

I’ve had to do this myself for allergy reasons. I use a 45 gal container that measures 36” long by 21” wide and 19 1/2” tall/deep. I purchased it at a national retailer not online. But this size allows for the plastic bag the hay is packaged in to be easily lifted and placed directly in the storage bin, and allows for air flow around the hay inside the bin. I also have a smaller plastic bin I put the hay for the day into so I dont have hay flying around everywhere when feeding my five house rabbits.

What cut is this? 1st,2nd,3rd?

You won’t know until you receive it, but I have gotten different cuts at different times of the year. All three cuts are high quality and fresh smelling. If you happen to get a 3rd cutting box it can be overwhelming for your pets digestion and you should try to mix it with 1st or 2nd cutting. Personally, I try to keep all three cuttings on hand so I can keep my bunnies from getting picky, but it’s not easy to guess what you will receive. So far I find 1st cutting comes in summer through late fall, 3rd cutting in winter to early spring and 2nd cutting in late spring. But this is not an exact science!

Is there no way to know what cut you get? i'm really only looking for 2nd cut (my comparison product is small pet select)

Their Hays are from the First or Second cuttings then Sun Cured. It must be a unique process because the box I received, the Hay was really Green, Soft, long & very fragrant. To me it appears like 3rd cut due to the softness but I know it isn’t. My rabbit always eats 2nd cut & she loves this Timothy Hay. Try it I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Is this the same as the hay? My guinea pigs don't seem to be eating as much of this grass compared to the amount of Kaytee hay they were eating.
