Works great but the steering is backwards but I just turn the control upside down

The media could not be loaded. So my Kids wanted faster but not much going for Best Choice Products (BCP) 12v Jeep so heres some info I gather during my 24v Upgraded.Going from a Weelye stock 12v ESC to Weelye RX30 24v ESC. The connection clips are the same white clip on left is your steering servo, then the next 2 slots are motor leads. But I'm using the 3rd slot only for the motors. And the 4th is the 24v power. The clips are direct connect, no need to modify except steering.I Also Upgraded the stock motors/gearbox assembly to 24v 550s 18000rpm with gearbox complete from amazon. Fits exactly no mods. "24v550 18000rpm motors w RS550 Gearbox" On 24v Weelye RX30 the stock steering servo i noticed the connection plug is reversed so flip the wires to get it steering the right way. Also when installing the motors(if you do), make sure the wheels spin in the same direction. I soldered the motors exactly as the stock gearboxs had them and one was reversed so plz check before you finish. You also need to get a mini 24v to 12v regulator on Amazon 6pack is $10. Any 12v electronics that come stock or that you added should run thru one. I forgot to test and it burned out my custom rollbar lights."Valeford LM2596 DC to DC Voltage regulator"Note*Remember the rx30 is a 24v system so all outputting voltage is 24v so use a 24/12v regulator where need. Used to upgrade my kid's car to 24 v from 12 volt worked amazing. The steering wires were backwards from the 12 volt version though needed to swap around.

It installed fine and the kids got to use it once, Now I'm out like 60 bucks total on the conversion and it does not have forward anymore. Very crap. I am sure I will get no help either.

To fix the inverted steering, just take some needle nose pliers out and pull the plastic steering socket connector out and put it back in upside down. That will reverse the polarity of the steering motor and it should steer in the correct direction now.

Stock 12v uses a single wire harness for both rear motors on my kids jeep. Kept hitting the thermal limiter and dying. After some trial and error figured out that if I put one motor on one port, solved the issue. Now we just break front wheels because he turns so hard. Well worth the money.

This part works as described and is plug and play except the left and right are backwards. I just cut the wires and reversed them but if you sell a part that is supposed to be plug and play, you might want to get that right. There are a lot of videos out there that show you how to fix but I feel this should have been addressed by now so that is the reason for the mediocre review. As far as working and range, this seems to be the same as the OEM part so at least they have that down.

Really liked it. Original controller in Grand-kid's Best Products 24V Mercedes (Xetros?) truck played out. I was able to adapt this one without too much trouble. The connector for the steering servo is different. I had to change the connector on the end of that pair of wires. It is a little bit larger than the original. I made a riser for it to get cooling from underneath instead of setting right on the bottom of the cavity.Pairing up with the included remote could not have been easier.
