Purchase if you want filter Included in your project
I had high hopes for this filter and block at first it worked good but after running I would say 150 meters through it the filter started to fall apart and go through the printer system and melt on my printing project making the project trash. I don’t know how often you are supposed to change the filter but if they only last that 150 meters this will be costly. I would recommend try a different product.

Great buy
I bought for using with my ender3. I would recommend could tell difference in prints right away. Yes you can diy yourself this but take my word just buy these they look great work great and a simple low cost update that will improve your printer I found even better then the diy version and I believe in diy projects. But just do yourself a favor forget the diy it’s only couple dollars. Going to buy more for all my roles of Filament.

These things actually work really well. If your in the fence just do it. Sure you could diy but heck at this price use your time and filament for something cooler.

Keeps filament clean
The filament is pulled through a round brush removing dust and debris.

Work great for keeping filament clean
Defiantly works, dust and debris collect on the sponge and now on the filament! Have one on my Ender 3 and one on my Maker Select and never have had an issue with them.
