Best camping burner around, especially for people with a Discada/Cowboy Woks
I've used this thing for both camping and cooking at home for parties and absolutely love it. I've had a 24" disco/cowboy wok for a few years and would usually throw it on the fire with a few rocks or use my old school kettle propane burner, which was always a balancing act. I finally bought this burner mid-summer and have used it about a dozen times now and all I can think about is, "what the heck have I been doing the 3 years before having this thing?"This burner combined with the discada/cowboy wok, is hands down one of the best camp cooking and even home cooking setups for large meals. Not to mention you can piece together a kit for a fraction of the price of those brands that cater to overlanders who charge upwards of $700 for a kit similar to what you can build out with this and this is more versatile as you can still heat a big kettle pot up with it and it's just as compact. As far as build quality, you can see there is a lot of thought and care put in to this unit. It's very sturdy and collapses down to almost nothing making it easy for packing in the vehicle for camping. This finish is very nice and holds up well to abuse. The design for the cradle is probably the best you can get for being universal between a kettle and a discada, keeping both very stable. The burner also puts out a lot of heat and distributes it very well.If I lost this thing, cause i don't think it's ever going to break, I would buy a replacement almost immediately. This item deserves all 5/5 stars.

Wok Burner with High Heat Output and Sturdy Legs
Just opened the box tonight and assembled the wok. It seems to be well made and easy to assemble. I will update the review after I cook a few things on this.Flame - The controller is at the Propane tank and goes from a low heat to a raging inferno. It controls very smoothly and doesn't jump from low to high heat. The stand fits a 14-Inch wok perfectly. I added a 10" Wok ring to use as a wind screen.UPDATE (3-months of use 3/2/2021) - It works great and cooks great. A small 20lb propane tank lasts forever. I filled the tank in early December and after many uses I only used up 20% of the tank. I've made the most amazing Thai and Chinese meals on this. One negative is that the rust is really getting out of control. I would recommend storing this indoors or in a covered garage and out of the elements. I took apart the burner to clear out some of the rust on the inside of the burner and it works better now.UPDATE (9/20/2021) - The burner and all of the components are getting rustier. I store it outdoors under a covered patio. It still performs well, but with the rust the flame isn't as perfect as it used to be. No problems after a year of regular use. STORE indoors if possible!Try this website for great recipes and stir fry techniques: thewoksoflife -dot- com.

Fantastic Wok Stove
We got this and assembled it easily. It works beautifully, and cooks incredible stir fries with the stove's gas lever at 1/4 to 1/2 on. This stove was a bit short, so we got 3 cinder blocks that were very carefully placed and leveled for our Kahuna burner to sit on. They work perfectly, and the height is very good me at 5'7" and my husband at 5'11" tall is quite comfortable. If we wanted, we could put 3 nylon ties looped through the hole and top, then tightened just enough the feet can slide in and out. With all 3 feet snugged into the loops, it should be pretty secure, you would need to pull the tie over the feet to secure, and forward to release 1-2 feet to take the burner off the blocks. The 20# propane tank has plenty of room with the stove higher. Since I'm using this 3-5 times a week (I mostly cook Asian), I may get it it's own 20# tank, so I'm not moving our tank from the grill each time I cook. This stove will securely hold my 10" woks to my 14" woks, but you may want to wrap the wood handles to protect from the heat. I used my flat bottom & round bottom 14" woks, but the heat came up along the sides and was uncomfortable. I got an 18" carbon steel round bottom wok w/ 2 metal handles (Wok Shop com or Wok Shop thru Amazon) and it's perfect. Most of the heat is deflected, there's plenty of room for 2-5 servings, and I can easily spray it out with hot water to clean it.We found a pair of leather grill gloves keep the heat off the arm and hand holding the wok, and the other glove is used to move the very hot wok to the table or indoors. A wok ring on a piece of 1/2" wood makes a great trivet/wok holder. This stove also holds my 13.5" paella pan, but the heat is a little much, so we're going to make a ring or bracket to hold the paella pan a few inches higher.
