Excellent & Healthy Sugar Substitute
Excellent Product!!! I've been using Monk Fruit as a white sugar substitute for several years. I was introduced to the fruit through my studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine and purchased it it in China Town NYC as Lo Han Quo in granulated packages & cubes. The Chinese product contained a small amount of granulated sugar which I tolerated through the years. I always wondered why there was no sugarless version. Searching through AMAZON I finally discovered PURISURE MONK FRUIT EXTRACT. The extract is much sweeter in taste so I use less. The measuring spoon provided is a great addition to the packaging. Lastly, my digestive condition tolerates Monk Fruit opposed to Stevia substitute another healthy alternative. I can not & will not use Erythritol & similar brand substitutes.

Tastes just like dried luǒ hán guò.
So my wife makes a drink from dried luǒ hán guò (Monk Fruit). I enjoy the taste so thought I'd try this pure powder without erithritol. To my taste buds it has pretty much the same taste as the actual dried fruit. It is pretty concentrated so should last me a while. I tried it I'm my coffee and found it to be way smoother than my favorite brand of Stevia (Sweet Leaf). It tastes different but still delicious to me. I don't get any aftertaste as other reviews report. It is very powdered so the warnings other posted about not breathing it are something to listen to. I put it in an old Stevia bottle to make access easier than opening a zip bag every day. I'd say 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon makes my giant coffee tumbler very sweet.(I only like very sweet coffee) . I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted so good, hence the review.Note: If you mix it with something cold, I will say it is a bit difficult to get it to dissolve as it tends to clump up but not a really big deal.

Original without eritritol o maltodextrin
I really liked this monk fruit. Unlike others that are usually mixed with different sweeteners, this one is pure and you can tell. It has a distinct orange color and a strong flavor, so you only need a tiny bit to sweeten your drinks. That means it lasts a long time. I mix it with all kinds of beverages and definitely prefer it over other sweeteners.

Very Disappointing
One star is generous, but this stuff is awful. I tried giving up sugar in my morning coffee for my health. I tried the type that had allulose and thought it imparted a funny taste. So, I went 100% (pure) monkfruit, and found out that was the funny taste! I tried it over the weekend and by Sunday I skipped any thing other than 1/2 n 1/2. This stuff is leaving an aftertaste and has me hating coffee.

Definitely sweet
It only takes a small amount to sweeten whatever your putting this product into. It doesn't dissolve easily. I use it in my cup of hot tea. When adding it in after the water is poured it takes some manipulating to get it to fully dissolve. I've taken to adding it in before I add the hot water and it is fully dissolved after letting my tea steep which works much better. It does have it's own unique flavor that comes thru the flavor of my tea bags and my flavored creamers. I'm not crazy about that slight aftertaste, but I don't hate it either. It's 100% monkfriut and no other sweeteners mixed in. That's hard to find in the stores.

Great product but monkfruit is just nasty!
So glad to find a pure monkfruit product! Everything else is cut with erythritol.A few things to know if you are not familiar:1. The product is a super fine powder. If you open the pouch you will have monkfruit in your nose and throat for hours!!!!2. It is super duper concentrated. A recipe says 1 cup, use 1/4 teaspoon instead!!!!3. Monkfruit is NASTY! If someone tells you it has no flavor, you will know for sure you have met a con artist! I have attempted to use it multiple times so far, the result is always that I wasted the time preparing the food, and I throw away all of the expensive, organic, diabetic friendly ingredients that are hard to come by. Today I first ended up making a double watch of chocolate dessert to try and cover the taste, and now I am throwing it all out. 3 hours work, $40 of ingredients, destroyed by a teeny bit of monkfruit. My husband compared the taste to saccharin. Definitely a face sweet taste.Do yourself a favor and by allulose instead! It’s just that monkfruit is 5 times nastier than stevia. And stevia is pretty bad…
