BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal Paint Sealant 8 oz

Not amazing(!) and unbelievable(!) as advertised by other reviewers. Obviously, make your own decisions about what you read on the internet.This product does a decent job with protecting the paint and creating a layer that makes it harder for dirt and water to stick to. I'd say it lasts around 3 months or so. Initially I put 2 layers on my car, one week apart I think. It looked very good and shiny when clean. However, if you park outside, dirt will start to accumulate almost immediately and the shine quickly goes away. I would maintain the sealant by applying a new layer every 2 months.We had a drought in California so I stopped washing the car for around 3-4 months. During this time the wax wore off and it was much much more difficult to wash the car. Dirt was sticking to the paint, making it harder to clean.So overall it did its job but it's probably just on par with other Meguiar products and etc. This product is more of an entry level product with medium results. It's more suited for protecting your paint rather than providing big shine.Lasted around 3 months in California weather. Recommend 2 coats initially + another coat every 2 months.

This is one of my favorite automotive products. I bought three bottles back in 2015, and I’m down to the last fourth of a bottle of my last bottle. Unfortunately, someone at the company made a ridiculous decision to stop producing this product. They replaced it with an SiO2 product which is not nearly as effective are easy to use. As others have said in the reviews, this is super easy to use, and makes the paint super slick with hydrophobic properties. You just spray a fine mist onto a section, wipe it off with one towel, and then go over with another towel to get the the product completely wiped off and rubbed in. This will go down in history among the other products which companies should never have stopped making. Very excellent.

Excellent. I purchased this after reading some reviews on the Subaru Forester owner's forum and was duly impressed. The sealant works quite well and keeps the vehicle looking really nice and shiny (my car sits outside, my wife's car gets the entire two car garage). On a whim, the following weekend, I repeated the procedure but only on the front half of the vehicle to see if there would be an improvement - which there was. The rain and dirt did not remain on the paint as it did on the back-half of the vehicle. So, two things to take from that little unscientific experiment: 1.) the product works as advertised and 2.) two very thin coats work really well.Make sure to follow the instructions. Do not overuse - it's simply not necessary. I covered my entire Forester (a small SUV) with approximately five- to six- shots onto the applicator pad. Additionally, when you wash and wax your car, get some good microfiber towels to keep the lint to a minimum and reduce the scratching in the clear coat caused by bath towels. FWIW, I purchased the 3-Pack Cobra Guzzler HD Waffle Weave drying towels (16"x24") and the Cobra Super Plush Deluxe 600 Microfiber Towel, 16 x 24 inches - 3 pack from the same vendor.Overall, I highly recommend this product.

Wow, it doesn't get much easier than this. One to two spritzes to get the applicator loaded, then the applicator will cover about 2-4 Sq Ft. The best results are obtained when the applicator is wiped until it no longer leaves any product and is almost completely dry, and then spritz the applicator again to cover the next area. 10 - 12 spritzes on the applicator will cover the average car. Walk away, and the product will do its work.On a new car, use this in conjunction with the Blackfire Clean and polish with an orbital polisher. You will be amazed with the results, just like glass over paint.I have covered about (5) cars so far, and still have at least 3/4 of the product left.I was a hard core carnuba wax guy, and this product converted me. Takes about 15 minutes to get a great shine with very little effort. Wax on-wax off is a thing of the past.

this sealant is amazing. the shine can only be described as a head turner. i mean i noticed alot more people literally snapping their necks and more compliments. the application was almost to easy.the only problem i had was i just didnt believe one spray was enough per panel(hood & roof got 2). somehow less is more with this product. i did my camry in about 20-25 minutes and thats with me taking my time. it self cures to the paint and leaves a slick finish. there is no need to buff. ive had it on for about 2 weeks now and the shine is still turning heads and i have not washed or touched up my car. there is a decrease in dirt that sticks to the paint and somehow this stuff disguises the thin layer(until you get up close) pretty well. most likely not a good buy for those who dont really care about how their car looks/washed. but for enthusiasts and detailers out there, this is well worth it.

There is a product that I started using recently and I have had some pretty amazing results with. It is a paint sealant which protects paint from dirts, oil, UV rays and even moisture. This product works a treat and I really like it a lot. There is actually no wax in this at all, and all you need to do is spray this on and then wipe off. Two coats is recommended.Cons: The price it's way overpriced.

Just got into detailing, and was looking for a sealant that would give my car a shine and hold up well. Looking through forums online a lot of people recommended Blackfire, and I haven't been able to find any negative reviews on it so decided to give it a try. I was completely blown away with the results. It's been almost 2 months since I applied it and it has been holding up really well. I recommend using Blackfire soap for washes since it's specially formulated to remove dirt and grime without stripping the sealant. Anyone who takes pride in detailing their car needs to use this, you won't be disappointed.

The high sheen this product claims to create is probably only on brand new cars that already have state of the art paint jobs. I did exactly what the instructions stated, but it did nothing for my car, a Toyota Camry.
