Flexible and Convenient
It will isolate and protect the area. It is more flexible than traditional bandages in my experience. It states that it is "Breathable" which in my personal experience seems to help with healing. You must change the dressing as recommended by a Health Care Professional. Do not just put this on a wound and leave it. The adhesive can and will cause irritation and can actually remove skin if you are to aggressive in removing it. MAKE SURE THE AFFECTED AREA IS COVERED BY SOMETHING OTHER THAN THIS BANDAGE !!!! Gauze, Triple-Antibiotic, something!!! It can and will stick to your wound, healing skin, scabs etc. and it WILL remove them if you are not careful when you remove the bandage! The adhesive works very well but will not stick to Triple-Antibiotic which is what I used. It is more comfortable and flexible than a traditional bandage and best of all, it is barely noticeable to anyone else. I used it on my arm at the elbow and it does flex very well and will usually stay on in the shower. Again, I cannot stress enough that you must change the bandage on a regular basis as directed by a Health Care Professional. Just putting this on an open wound and leaving it WILL lead to infection, just like any other bandage.

Great thin waterproof coverage
Excellent super-thin, but strong waterproof self-sticking covering...sort of like a one-sided sticky cling wrap. Created an additional waterproof barrier for stitches. Sticks well, but is not difficult to remove. Is fairly flexible, but stays tight against skin. No obvious residue left behind when removed. No directions are included, so it may take a couple of tries to figure out how to apply correctly, but works great once on.

Great for surgical incisions!
I used this adhesive as a sling with a gauze to cover a surgical incision on my hip. I really liked how the product stretched without pulling the skin as I moved during the day and night. When it was time to change the bandage it came off without pulling the skin or pulling out all my hair. I also liked that it was waterproof and so I could shower, but the site never felt like it was cut off from the air.

My go to for waterproofing surgery site.
When I knew I was getting a total knee replacement on September 15 2021, I started looking for Tegaderm so I could shower without getting my incision wet.Ten days no shower was not going to happen for me!I also purchased sterile gauze.I've been able to shower daily when I feel up to it, keeping my incision site clean and dry so no infection etc.It can be a bit tricky to peel but once you figure it out, it's a breeze.Stays in place nicely, keeps anything underneath totally dry.As long as you don't leave it on too long it's very easy to remove with no residue.Im stocking up now for my next surgery.4" x 11 yards is enough to cover a 3.5" x10" insision site since September 18 2021 to keep the original dressing dry.Extremely cost effective purchased this way.Excellent transaction, delivered ahead of schedule, no issues at all.

Keeps water out. Mild adhesive but holds well.
We purchased this to water proof an open wound and it worked great. My wife was able to shower. Also, she's very sensitive to adhesives. We had zero problems with this product. It's a little tricky the first few times. A few wasted inches in the process. But once you get and follow the basics it becomes easy.

Hard to apply but does the job intended
It was very hard to apply to my wounds. It took me and my mom about an hour to do these on my leg. But it was waterproof and stood up while I took a shower last night. Some of the edges are peeling so if you are worried about it being waterproof, I suggest using a larger square to cover it. Also you have to clean the area very well and it does not stick to hair very well. It did the job but not as well as the tegaderm wrap the hospital had put on after my surgery.

Terrific for after surgery/wound care and every day first aid
When you are not allowed to let water touch your skin due to a surgical incision or wound, showering can be difficult or even impossible. If carefully applied (over your sterile dressings), this film will lock out the water completely. This is also great to have on hand for more minor first aid issues that you need to keep dry during wet activities. It is easy to apply and stays stuck to your skin.

Absolute Garbage!
Stay away from this one. After two days of usage, I developed a terrible rash from this product. I applied it onto a clean area with Aquaphor covering the tattoo. The area was cleaned every four hours, and a new bandage was applied. On the second day I developed a rash from this crap. Shortly after, my wife developed a rash too. The possibility of both of us developing the same type of rash after using this product is more than just a coincidence. The picture shows the rash three days after I stopped using it. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for your tegaderm. Go with a well known company and pay a little extra. It will be worth it. I sure as hell wish I did.
