Only Partially Worked
We really wanted to like this card but it just doesn’t work correctly. The first issue was the included software recognized the card but wouldn’t display any video signal. The third party software we use did show a video signal but no audio. That was fine because we could plug the audio into the line in. However, the video often had extra noise and interference introduced. We use two other video transfer devices which looked fine with the same tapes, cables, and VCR. The last and final straw was that if the tape had any kind of degradation or static, the card would just cut to blue and not record anything. On top of all that, AVerMedia support was unresponsive/non-existent. Maybe we just got a dud but without any tech support there's nothing we could do but return it.
